Legend is the most over used word for a footballer... he or she maybe a 'good' footballer. You'd have to ask yourself would she get in to a premiership team? Any team in the USA would get beat by a premiership team.
Now we're getting into the argument of males competing with females. The world of sport separates the sexes for a reason.....physical strength etc, inequality through childhood etc.....so no, she wouldn't get in a premiership team....maybe a championship side....but I never claimed she could. But in the women's game she's as close to a legend as possible...as was Mia Ham.

May I suggest a name change? 'Imbecile4d' perhaps? Of course women internationals are better than lads who played half-arsed at school level. Like with men, only those with a natural talent go on to play *professionally*. A lot of the English and German internationals ply their trade in the USA professionally...and female 'soccer' over there is taken very seriously. I'd love to watch your average Sunday league bloke try and do the things K. Smith does with a football. Including 49y goals.
There are a lot of long range goals in women's football, i'll give you that. The main reason being, the goals are the same size as mens, while the female goalkeepers on the other hand are significantly smaller. After the German women won the 2003 world cup, they followed it up with a 3-0 defeat to VFB Stuttgart's under 18 team. Pretty impressive I must say.

A legend is someone who will be talked about still 10 years after they have finished..... be it male or female.
I really think the word is over used.. Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson, Zidane are legends.
