Aida Verona 2008

Lived in Verona for many years and been to the open air performance of Aida 3 or 4 times. I love the Marcia Trionfale. The Arena is just made for this piece!! They make good use of the available space. Brass players are not just in the orchestra, but also on the steps at both sides of the stage, which creates a fantastic sound effect. Acoustics of the Arena are good, but don't sit in the back. The poor sound quality of this video can not convey the live experience. Go see it!!!
