As a recent PSU alum I am disappointed to see this. I don't think it is representative of a visiting fan's experience at PSU though. At the 2009 game, my tailgating area hosted a huge, fun-natured game of dizzybat between teams of PSU and OSU fans where all were sharing beers and burgers. I like to think that is the more common kind of experience. To any visiting fan that's come to PSU and been treated like this, I am sorry. Come back again... we will do better.

This happened on frat row, about a mile from the stadium. Believe me there was no reason for those fans to be up there in the first place. Also this is in the back a frat house which about every student is drunk. What do you expect from students?Any fan from any opposing team that would walk in the backyard of a frat house would have the same thing happen. Although I don't support what these people did, there was just a time and place where opposing fans don't want to be and that is frat row.

@therealdude1 Won't take that long, maybe two years. But with what happened with OSU, and can't see how they're anything less than underdogs. You don't have Pryor anymore. One of these teams will win the Big Ten: Michigan State, Nebraska, or Wisconsin.

@ZmanHot theres no way msu wins, iowa is a better team. msu is known for tanking after a good year, (in which they were overrated and got exposed twice by the way) the other two teams you mentioned have a good chance and maybe iowa a small one because of their coach.

@MrDrugist Dude, Iowa lost Ricky Stanzi, their starting QB. They also lost Adrian Clayborn. MSU has Kirk Cousins, one of the highest rated QB's in the nation for the coming draft. Also, MSU has a pretty damn good coach too. They have much of their team intact, they just had a couple off games last year.

@MrDrugist The Big Ten is pretty overrated, IMO. I can't believe that UF beat Penn State when UF sucked last year. Even Wisconsin lost to TCU... Just look at what teams are ranked and who they actually played. OSU? Only 2 teams that finished with less than 5 losses- Wisconsin and Arkansas. Overrated.
And I have no reason to tease fans who are honest when their teams aren't that good. Hopefully Michigan will keep getting better.

I'm a Michigan fan, and I was booed by Penn State fans at their home game once (note I am 16 and it happened 3 years ago). Penn State has by far the worst fanbase in all of college football. They are classless and show no respect to their opponents.

this was a frat that did this and as a penn state student i am ashamed but MOST people who come into happy valley praise how polite and friendly PSU fans are to them even though they are fans of the opposing team. it's asshole's like this that make anyone look bad and ruin the reputation of a school
