In my opinion, the dances this year might have seemed weaker because they were basically "styles" that were native to certain areas that were trying to recieve some type of recognition where as in the seasons before, the dancers were able to do multiple hip hop based dances.

i liked BYFK, but i'm almost sure there were and are better performers that could've represented D.C.
i'm not hating or anything, it's just that D.C. is full of so much talent and unique styles, and i thought BYFK didn't represent that the way other D.C. crews could've.

To be the only crew representing such a "unique" style and being barely above average, you give the world a bad impression about an entire culture. Point blank, BYFK wasn't a particularly "good" dance crew..ABDC judges juss gave 'em a push cuz they were a breath of fresh air.

I just watched it and indeed they're amazing, BUT it doesn't convince me that they're amazing as a crew. It just showed each of them freestyling. You can be the sickest group of dancers but if you can't dance as a crew and come up with sick routines, then you're not that great a crew despite being amazing dancers. I felt the same way about Supreme Soul season 2. Obviously they're all sick dancers (I'm taking a Bionic workshop this Sunday) but I felt that their routines mostly were pretty boring.

Augh, this group has so much talent in their feet. You can easily see how amazing their feet / arm movement is- the problem is, is that Go go dancing (right?) is hard to maintain let alone sync with others. I give props for trying, they just need to fix their timing and stop being so tense when performing other moves not go-go related. Amazing crew though.

shit abdc should stop being so money-hungry and wait a year for other dance groups to come in. instead of settling for not as great dance groups, the ones that don't match up to last season's.. this is the fourth season.. theres only so many dance groups out there.

I am a choreographer and have my own crew, as an experienced dancer I can say that what they are doing isn't that difficult. Their routine was not that impressive, regardless of the kind of dance it is, it wasn't that synchronized for a competition of this magnitude, though I will say that they have a lot of potential to learn & expand their skill. I think it's great that different regions of hip-hop are being recognized and that they struggle, yet dedicated themselves to a constructive cause.

Ppl who say that they need to clean up their act don't realize what their dancing is about. It's suppose to be raw, typically unorganized dancing. In fact, half the time they don't dance together. Rather, they all have their own solo while their respective crew surrounds the soloist. At least that's what drew when I watch a ton of gogo dancing videos. By the way, did you guys know that the original BYFK performed at the Apollo?

shit abdc should stop being so money-hungry and wait a year for other dance groups to come in. instead of settling for not as great dance groups, the ones that don't match up to last season's.. this is the fourth season.. theres only so many dance groups out there.

An education has anything to do with dancing.I know plenty of educated people who have a DC accent just like a person from the south with an accent would you think they were less educated?It is a freestyle dance,if you know nothing about beating your feet,observe or research it!But I guess this youtube stuff is freedom of speech.But sometimes it is just taken too far.If you dont like it you have that right but name calling °rading words are not needed!

Everybody yelling rep DC. If this is rep for DC, I see why we can't get healthcare. I agree with the judges, "Sloppy!" If you really observe they are all doing different things at diffierent times. They are coasting to their exit ticket. Those judges hate repeating that word each week. No excuse for how poor their educations are. I have heard them speak. That girl should drop dancing and pick up a book to rep DC.

But I agree, it is good to see them putting on the DC area like that. And you notice they danced to a BackYard original. Not some song a band hit off the radio.

Some people just can't appreciate diversity in the dance world..You wanna keep seeing the same ol thing until you get bored and start raggin on them for not coming up with something new or more creative.... I like this group and their style of dancing..

I am a choreographer and have my own crew, as an experienced dancer I can say that what they are doing isn't that difficult. Their routine was not that impressive, regardless of the kind of dance it is, it wasn't that synchronized for a competition of this magnitude, though I will say that they have a lot of potential to learn & expand their skill. I think it's great that different regions of hip-hop are being recognized and that they struggle, yet dedicated themselves to a constructive cause.

Ppl who say that they need to clean up their act don't realize what their dancing is about. It's suppose to be raw, typically unorganized dancing. In fact, half the time they don't dance together. Rather, they all have their own solo while their respective crew surrounds the soloist. At least that's what drew when I watch a ton of gogo dancing videos. By the way, did you guys know that the original BYFK performed at the Apollo?
