@Tadgh78 EXACTLY these fucking hippies have been saying this shit for 30 fucking years, but it hasn't DAWNED on their 'opened' minds that just saying it doesnt DO anything.
EVEN tho thyve had nothing happen for 40 yrs shit
doesn't take away from the fact that it's true. I took mushrooms for the first time with my friends a few weeks ago. At one point during the trip a police car drove by and it reminded me that shrooms are illegal...but why? We climbed a tree and kept to ourselves...Receiving jail time for something so innocent is a joke, and it is sad that people are forced to spend part of their lives in cells for doing it.
I'm sure people tried to get him out. But in the end you have to convince the public that the drugs aren't evil...what else can you do? I guess this movie/video is one approach.
you didn't answer my question. if you're going to be a proponent of violence, then you must explain yourself. I just don't see how violence fits into this picture...
@mellamosean resist compliance to all wrongdoing u see. if the law comes down on u get violent. simple. band together with like minds for strength in numbers.
1st: I was arguing that this particular problem cannot be solved through violence.
2nd: yea i see plenty things wrong with society, but that doesn't make me correct. If everybody fought to change everything they thought was wrong we'd have never ending chaotic civil war. That Norwegian guy who killed 93 people (mostly children) thought it was a good idea to solve problems though violence. So did those responsible for 9/11. violence will not fix our society...
1st of all, i resent be classified under a feminine perspective. Anti-violence has existed long before the feminine movement. I am not even coming from a anti-violence perspective. Violent uprisings have been necessary in many times during different times in history, and probably to this day, in other countries anyway. I just don't see how violence can help anything in the structure we have. But if you know how it was, please enlighten....
@mellamosean haha, i meant it as a compliment! feminine is not the same as 'feminist'. feminine= feeling empathy, chatting on the phone, touchy feely and all that.
it didnt require any political movement, its just nature.
u c, we are beholden to the owners of the land, and they use fear and lies layered on top of each other like a quintuple decker(?) sandwich. You cant walk around with drugs. so violence imposes itself on you. so resist. theres no neutral on a moving train.
im currently reading his pharmako series. brilliant books. they provide one of the most eloquent and vivid interpretations of our relationships with the plant kingdom in my opinion. definite must-reads for aspiring psychonauts, ethnobotanists or anyone who wishes to lift the veil of obfuscation from a subject which has been so thouroughly shrouded in fear and misinforamtion.
My god, im not sure there is anyone I agree with more.

@mellamosean ok. so... thats a feminine perspective, and as a woman u r firmly rooted in reality, a good sense of reality, and i appreciate that.
it counterbalances masculine ego-drives and formulaic thinking.
now...there are principles that can be put in place to answer the problems u have.
there are also those who don't want u to see those principles, or have them put in place.
i am not suggesting violence as imposition, i am suggesting it as RESISTANCE.
sometimes violence is necessary. REAL.
