  • I love 5:32-5:42, it's so adorable I love everything about it, I love Grace's face when Warbucks turns around and I love that all 3 of them grab each other and run at the end, it's how I imagine them after the movie ends, being a surprisingly fun and goofy family.

  • Omg you are NOT going to believe this but I met Andrea McArdle at my summer camp at the Kimmel center and I have her autograph I didn't think it was her but then I'm like, omg I can't believe it's her! I was in Annie at the summer camp it was only a part of it though and she was mrs hannigan and I was an orphan and my friend gabby was Annie I did not even realize it was her I was so surprised but omg I can't believe I met her!

  • @erinadele2000 nice!!!!!

  • I like this Oliver :) it's so cute how they bond

  • LOL! Vic's getting blackmailed by a ten year old!!! hahaha reminds me of the behind the scenes interview w/ Abigail Breslin, and Gerard Butler had to pay her 2 dollars for every curse word he said! hehehehehe

  • Was it just me... or was the lead singer in the musical they were seeing... horribly lip syncing? I mean I know musicals on film are usually lip synced but, that was just horrible....

  • @pulidos824 Andrea McArdle is awesome. I don't think you'll find too many to agree that she does/did anything horribly, lol.

Actually, the sync problems in this part are technical glitches on my end. Somewhere between the rendering and the uploading, something happened. I'm just not sure what. It gets really bad at the "Go ask the Gershwins or Kaufman and Hart" section, then straightens itself out. Other than that, everything is okay, I think. :)

  • @RedSonja92 um it's actually Audra McDonald.....not "Andrea McArdle"

  • @temilyo Um, I'm not sure what it is you think you're correcting me on because I do know who's who, lol, but Audra McDonald is Grace, and Andrea McArdle (original Broadway Annie) is playing the Star-to-be in the musical the three of them go to see. :)

  • @temilyo Audra McDonald is the secretary to victor garber aka warbucks. Andrea McArdle was the singer in movie's Broadway show.

  • @RedSonja92 And Andrea was in the Broadway production as Annie herself, wasn't she?

  • @pulidos824 .... just you

  • @pulidos824 I agree! She is synced, but it doesnt look like she is singing

  • I couldn't be more......delighted that you'll be spending Christmas here with me in my..... big house. LOL

  • His head is too small for his body...just saying...

  • I liked Victor Garber as Oliver Warbucks. It seemed as if he accepted Annie as his daughter faster than Albert Finney did.

  • I love this version so much better than the 1982 version!

  • Before Alicia Morton was Annie in this movie, she was ANNIE in her school musical :D

  • I can't watch part 6, it says I need a team of highly trained monkeys, but I can't find any. :(

  • @ryry837

oh my gosh that happened to me on another video.

    What the heck is that?

    A prank?

    Someone give me an answer!!!

  • It'sjesus!!!

  • haha they only pointed out the good things in nyc not the bad like the mugs and all that hehe i guess so scince its a family movie...

  • i watched the broadway show....and it looked like annies mom...am i right?

  • @hrnewberry2000 Are you talking about the Star to Be in the Broadway show that Warbucks, Grace, and Annie go to see? No, the character is not related to Annie. The actress playing the part was the original Annie in the 1977 Broadway musical.

  • Lol, Victor bald(:

  • Can anyone tell me who the Star to be is? Rumor has it that she was the original broadway annie, but not sure.

  • @TheLuckiestmom74 It's Andrea Mcardle, the original Annie from the original 1977 Broadway musical.

  • right at 6:33 i thought i was watching Deal or no Deal at first :D

  • lol the way warbucks looks at annie sometimes is.....well....lol :D

  • The first thing I thought when he said "You're a girl. Orphans are boys" was "That's not how it is in China" xD

  • i live in ny and everytime i go to the city it really does feel like this! :D

  • i like both annie but (1982) is the best !

  • Just got back from a trip to NYC, and this song was in my head the whole time :)

  • i like the oliver here

but the oliver in 1982 annie was better

  • in this part you can really see mr. warbucks' heart starts to melt for annie :)

  • "see mr warbucks, ive never met anybody with a real job. except mr. bundles...so i'd kinda like to watch you work." (pulls up huge chair to his desk and plops chin on her arms with eager eyes) ^_^ love that part!!

  • she so cute!

  • I liked when Oliver W. was able to tuck Annie into bed in the older version, I also find the connection between Annie and Oliver W. is too fast

  • NO PUNJAB!! NOOO

  • @animefreakculicious2 XD Punjab was my fav character from the older Annie

  • @animefreakculicious2 i liked him

  • @ChicagoSouthDan No.Not Annie. The show they went to see.

  • @balletluve I think the show is made up for the Annie musical. In other words, I'm pretty sure it's not a scene from an actual Broadway musical, but I'm not completely sure.

  • @ChicagoSouthDan You're correct. I'm sure I read this somewhere else, also, but according to Wikipedia... "The dancers' costumes and the stage set of the Broadway section of "N.Y.C." are taken directly from the "Broadway Melody" ballet in Singin' in the Rain." Singin' in the Rain is my favorite movie musical. :)

  • @corrinnemaxine1996 Actually, it does. I was just there in April.

  • actually nyc doesnt have the empire state building anymore

  • @corrinnemaxine1996 yes it does.

  • Ahh Andrea =)

  • Annie (1999) - Part 5/10

  • at 7:15, is that the old Annie? she sounds like it

  • @locolici12 yes it is

  • @locolici12 She's the original Annie from the original Broadway musical cast from 1977. She is not the Annie from the 1982 musical.

  • If anyone knows the movie musical "Godspel," Oliver Warbucks played Jesus. Anyone recognize him?

  • @VidWatcher45673 Yep, that's Victor Garber.

  • "Ask if he will join us on Christmas!"

"Ummg... Will you join me for dinner with my new...Annie?"

  • "My new Annie?..."

  • "Tonight! The 'y'! Why not?"

  • The shoeshine was getting his by Annie holding her balloons.

  • 4:16

is that the house from home alone 2?

  • the other version is better

  • "well thats about it, goodbbye"..."Couldn't I watch just a few more minutes?" Sooo cute!

  • the broad way show reminds me of 'Thorouly modern milly'

  • i like how they go around newyork its cute

  • the song nyc was in the 1977 broadway version .

  • 4:05 he's addicted and he just cant get enough

  • "I wonder what democrats eat?" LOL

  • this whole scene made me love Victor Garber all the more!! =)

  • What I liked better about this version was that it actually took place during Christmastime!

  • oh my gosh i love this musical!

  • "How 'bout a brandy?" HAHA WTF shes like 10

  • @xoOJDxo1994 close but she's eleven

  • After watching this movie dozens of times, I just realized Ms. Grace gave Mr. Warbucks a spoon not a pin.

  • i think that lady singing on the stage was miming

  • I giggle at the missed snowball everytime

  • Victor Garber looks so weird without hair :)

  • @purpleshamrock17 That's funny because I think he looks weird WITH hair! XD

  • the snowball fight was priceless

  • I love Warbucks' voice at the very end of the song "good girl, goodnight, sleep tight in NYC" omg I would marry him.... he's so cute and gentile and amazingly awesome... :P~

  • Annie has a cute smile.

  • I noticed there are alot more African Americans in this Annie compared to the 1982 one wow!

  • Mrs. Pue bring me a sandwich!! Lmaoo, even back then men were like that.

  • Sanddiee

  • I love this scene. :D

  • : Andrea's part was always y feavorite part of the movie.... i love how originals from years back make these one minute cameos in movies and completely steal the show :)

  • Annie has a really cute smile

  • I love Victor Garber but seeing him bald is an adjustment haha.

  • "Then come to my club for dinner and cigars" xD

  • Warbucks was a lot less pissed off in this movie.

  • "NYC" works *so* much better - why did it get replaced in the '82 movie with that lumbering, dreadful :Let's Go to the Movies" sequence?

  • @DrDespicable They may have felt that NYC would not appeal to people outside of New York city, but I like the NYC number.

  • She just makes herself comfortable in his office...

    So cute
