Yes Finally someone agrees its very do-able in 2142 and is not a hack! I use this always especially with my new mouse that has a weighted mouse wheel and when I spin it, the gears change very fast and the apc or jeep fly's compared to others driving. Yes the BF vehicles do actually use gears. Anyone that has coded for a BF mod with any of the BF series knows this. Its hella fun in game, many comments on how your a hacker.. when its nothing but hardware making use of the BF gear changing code.

You go to your options and switch the controls for vehicle acceleration from "w" to the mouse wheel. This makes APCs as fast as a FAV and FAVs as fast as when they are using sprint.
