I first heard this in 1999, I was 13. My grandad gave me a CD with Chopins music on it. At the time I thought it was "lame". Two days later it was all I wanted to listen to!!!!

The difference between dreamy and meditative is easier for me to feel than to explain.

How about this: too often this piece is played emotionally rather than thoughtfully. Paradoxically, I find it more emotional when the interpretation is more thoughtful.

To me, this is perfect.

@ElizabethTalbot this song can't be played either emotionaly or thoughtful. if you want it to be perfect, it has to have a perfect mixture of both, just like most chopen's songs.
