Women have their duties too, understood. But nowhere does the man have the right to beat the woman for not doing her job (whatever he thinks that may be). When the man does that, he has failed in his duties.

@NightShadeslayer If a man doesn't discipline his woman, he has in fact failed. Just like a cop refusing to arrest a criminal has failed in doing their duties.

It is not a man's right to discipline his woman.
She's is not his child, but his partner, and he should know her completely before marrying her. In fact, disciplining anyone that way is wrong.
It is however, the cop's right, actual duty to arrest a criminal. Therefore he should.

@NightShadeslayer So no discipline huh. Serving her husband a cold dinner, not getting the dishes done on time, mugging people, it's all good. Just let women do whatever the hell they want to. Screw that. Daily beatings to keep then in line is what I say.

If you want warm dinner, clean dishes, and an honest person- then marry one. Because you do NOT have the right to discipline, so don't delude yourself into thinking you can and should or put yourself in a position where the temptation arises. Women can do whatever they want the same way men can. That's something you not only need to learn, but deal with because it's true and it's enforced. So don't tempt yourself, find a good woman.

@NightShadeslayer You're just not getting it. The woman is his property. He has the right to tell her what to do, and he also has the right to discipline her as he sees fit. The only time she is allowed what to do what she wants to is when he approves of it.

No, I see you're not getting it. The woman is free and so is the man, nowhere does does it stem that the man has the right to control the woman, in any way. The woman does not have that right either. The last time people were held as property they were called slaves, and that is not allowed anymore. No person should be degraded to the point where they are considered property, that takes away from their human rights. And you do not have that right.

Hopefully it'll stick this time. Anyways, it's not meant to be degrading, it's just the way things are. Apparently I have that right, because I tell my wife what to do, and she does it. She is my property.

You tell your wife what to do and she does it, then she has chosen to obey you. Again, she has chosen to obey you. If you beat her otherwise, that shows that she said no, that she chose to say no- which will annoy you because your unnatural way of thinking that she is property is refuted by her ability to refuse you. If your wife is obedient, that does not make her your property, that just makes her an obedient woman, and you, a lucky man.
