Having trouble finding the 100mm pvc screw endcap fitting. Only fittings I've found are cleanout adapters which have a plug (male threads) instead of a cap (female threads). What is this fitting normally used for? Is it a cleanout? Maybe I can't get this one in N.A.

is it fittable for surfing recording? i mean with the mess of the waves and a supposed added pressure..

If it can go to 30m then it can take 4 bars. I would guess that would be fine. The only thing with this design is that the lens is on the inside. So all pressure working on the lens is just held by the glue. So i guess it all depends on the glue. It will be prone to hits on the lens glass.

If you look closely to part one when the plexi is glued in it will actually be sandwiched against the body tube when the cap is glued in place, so the pressure of the water, or any hits, will be transfered to the main body tube. There is no danger of it breaking free of its glue mount.

hi, how do you press the botton to stop and rec the tape, with the camera is inside ?. i thik is some coplicated turn on the camera before getign in, and the record can be sad without sound a thik so. We need to make some circuit to record auido while recording to make ensure that this record wll be perfect thanks.

i just press record before i put it in.

i dont need to press stop and record while i am diving

cos i can only dive for a max of an hour.

i got a longer tape and a bigger battery. so it last the whole dive. so i just leave it recording the hole time and edit it on the computer when i get home. as for sound i dont know.

lol nice cut outs... i made a housing off ur first videos. with just 6ml perspects i think it was. i didnt do a double seal ro anything but it works ive used it twice.

ok cool yeah 6mm should be fine. but if you be using it down at 30mm it be better to have at lease 12mm. i look forward to seeing some vids
