Basically, this is exactly like Echo 1's SOCOM 16 (M14 CQC).
The only major difference i can see is that the Echo 1 has a long-eye-relief scope mount built right on top of the full metal heat shield. Also, the battery cover is hinged and you don't have to "snap" it open. And, lastly the price is WAY different.
I got mine yesterday but it does not work! I loaded the battery and did everything like its written in the manual but when i pull the trigger nothing happens! :(
yeah for as crappy as some people may say it is its really not its flippin sweet. some just treat their guns like crap and yes they break fast but with good care they last a long time.
That's real true thus explaining why certain people hate certain weapons due to their poor maintenance. I have a UTG M14 and I take good care of it. It works great during airsoft skrimishes and hasn't failed me yet.
pretty good review man, im more then likely gonna be purchasing this within a couple of days.
Ive heard alot of good things about it other then the crappy battery compartment but other then that its an all around good starter for mid level play.
yeah the battery compartment is TERRIBLE but for mid level its accurate fast and reliable. like i say if u take good care of it it will last u a long time. ppl who say its crap generally beat the tar outta their guns. i have cheap flea-market guns from years ago that i use on a daily basis they work as good as the day i bought them.

Like range/accuracy wise.

I would say this gun is your best bet it has full auto as apposed to bolt action. not to mention it is much more versatile.
