You dont need Hunderds of candles for a big pop pop boat just make a bigger one. Forget candles use a stove on a real boat and a big copper tube. lol

@Heliman96 Have you tested it? Because I'm not sure about it. The frequency of oscillations strongly depends on size of the tube/engine. If you take really large tube you can have very slow or even maybe no oscillations. I have never seen big pop-pop boat.

Potrzebujesz kadłub - może być podłużne pudełko od sałatki żeby dobrze pływało. Dalej, ok. 40 cm miedzianej rurki o średnicy zewnętrznej ok 3-5 mm. Można znaleźć np. w starych lodówkach. Grubsze (6mm) w sklepach samochodowych do instalacji gazowej. Wygrzej rurkę nad gazem żeby była miękka. Zwijasz ją na grubym flamastrze - 4-5 zwojów w spiralę. To jest twój silnik. Końce rurki powinny mieć z 10 cm i je wklejasz w otwory w kadłubie poxipolem. Napełniasz rurkę wodą, podpalasz świeczkę i wuala!

@PR2glitcher If you take a few tens (or hundreds) of pop-pop engines and the same number of candles and small boat...It could work. So you can but It rather makes no sense because pop-pop engines have low efficiency. Electric or normal combustion engines are much better

(paschang) before you scrap your project make sure you prime the tubes with water,,, also try jeting it by stuffing smaller tubing in the outlets of your tubing.. please let us know how it works out

wow, how does it work? I saw the candle under the spring but idk how heating up the spring would make it go forwards lol.

this spring is made from copper tube (not rod). First, it should be filled with water and then you put a candle. Then, when the steam is produced a kind of oscillating movement of water in the tube appears (check pop-pop boat on google). So you have something like pulse-steam engine. It is not a fake. Regards
