@jocke256 man, ipad´s ips screen is an lcd screen, there are new types of ips-led, but the one found on the ipad is an ips-lcd with LED-backlit, that does not means it is an ips-LED.

I'd buy Ipad to read books. Instead of carrying bunch of books with me, I can just have them on IPad. I can also play some games if I want to.

No USB, no flash, no camera/webcam, embedded battery, closed ecosystem. The cheapest iPad costs $200 more than my crappy laptop, yet it can't do half as much. Why would anybody want one of these? Oh, that's right, because it's Apple and it's So Pretty To Look At.

Then why can't you buy a net book? You have everything in there except DVD rom. Web cam, much faster processor, USB and card readers, 250 to 300GB hard disk and top of all lesser price! Much lesser price!

@NajamQureshi actually mini laptops and netbooks only cost 300€ now a days.. same price as of the ipad... stupid marketing for the apple.. if they placed phone capability in the thing and cam nad 3gcam i should have bought it. i would rather use HP or lenovo tablet.

but if you want to have some slick fun experince for gaming and apps its kind of better thant he ipod touch. :/ my sister bought one she's an apple adict.
