  • is it possible to make the sauce without the eggs? im not a fan of eggs with my meals

  • @lynlee23 You can leave the eggs out, the noodles may be a bit "saucier" but should taste ok

  • I saw some of your baking and candy recipes and I thought they were awesome! Then I saw that you do recipes like this too. Subscribed.

  • LOVE IT!! :D

  • oh yum!! looks delicious! I will have to try next week =)

  • Hi there, my fiance is allergic to the bacteria in aged milk and cheeses. Do you think I could leave out the sour cream and add mozzarella or maybe do mayonnaise in place of the sour cream?

    Thanks.

  • My family is soooo skinny! We make your food and we gained over 17 lbs.!! THANKS! ( SO GOOD! WE LUV IT!! ))

  • @xXAnimeFunXx Happy I could help? lol. Thanks for watching!

  • selection mushrooms! hehe my 18 year old daughter works at foodbasics parttime. Didnt realize you were Canadian

  • @TrinaShannel :) !

  • omg why am i watching this when its night time, im so hungry, and the only thing in the fridge is mustard? i hate u yoyomax12 for making everything so tasty! lol haha jks great vid, but im thinking i should stop watching these vids at night..

  • @Rickitard You need to get some groceries so you don't hate me so much ;)

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment

  • @Rickitard Me too!!!

  • Question: Can I use store-prepared rotisserie chicken and if so, what would be the cup measurement please? Thanks.

  • @nemoryer Yes you can use the rotisserie chicken, about 2 cups of chopped up cooked chicken should be fine

  • I would love this recipe but I live alone and would like to cut it in 1/2, wonder how I can do that, with spinach and the rest? Thank you for this lovely recipe.

  • @nemoryer Sure you can cut this in half, the only challenge would be cutting the frozen spinach in half. I buy my spinach in frozen "nuggets" so it is easy to split the frozen pieces into half a package. For the rest, just cut the ingredient values in half.

  • @nemoryer

I would make the whole recipe, and freeze the other half.

  • Hi, could I substitute the canned mushrooms with fresh mushrooms? If so, what type of mushrooms do I use? Thanks for your lovely recipe!

  • @IrinarinarinaRafil Yes, you can use fresh mushrooms in this, you just fry them up at the same time as you do the red pepper. I only use the white button mushrooms because they are less expensive, I have no experience with any other kind. I suggest you use your favourite.

  • well before making this recipe..i would like to know what kind of taste do we get of cheese mixture :P ?..sweet or cheesy ?:}

  • @tanzinababes There is no sweet taste in this recipe

  • What a great Idea!!!! THank you...

  • @loverven I really like this recipe, it has many of my favourite ingredients in it. Thanks for wathching

  • I LOVE your moo-cow print kettle!

  • @d123am312 It was a wedding gift, many , many years ago! Thanks I love it too and I hope that it last a long time.

  • @aohmann After reading this comment I made this for dinner too! I had some leftover chicken to use up

  • I made this last night and it was great!!! next time im going to make it a little creamier and maybe add a few spices. But it was really good just like that. my hubby likes pizzaz so next time ill add the spices. thanks for the video it was really awesome.

  • @nay1134 This recipe can easily be customized to whatever tastes you have, thanks!

  • could i use heavy whipping cream instead of 1/2 and 1/2 cause thats what i have in my fridge and want to make this tonight?

  • @nay1134 You could use that or just combine the heavy cream with some regular milk or water to make half and half (dilute it a bit)

  • @yoyomax12 oh ok awesome. thanks so much for the advice. this looks so good. i cant wait till tonight. ill let ya know tomorrow.

  • @CASTINGhollywood Thanks!

  • YUMMY!!! I just love watching your tuterols! Im waiting for another one of your cupcake series! Those are awesome.. I havent had the internet for a couple of months but as soon as I got it back I logged on to youtube and went directly to you to see all your new recipes...Thnxs for sharing I'm going to give this one a try..

  • @nkr1695 Thanks so much! More cupcakes coming up very soon!

  • @PaisleyGiraffe Casseroles are one of my favourite things to make. I like having everything in one dish.

  • @aohmann lol, that would be a ton of garlic, don't use it on your date night! lol

  • what kind of kettle is that in the background?? xD Or is that someting else? It's black and white and looks funny.

  • @MoarPewPewPlz It is just a regular kettle, it is just painted to look like a cow. When I bought it, cow painted things were popular (I have a coffee server and cream and sugar bowls that look just like it)

  • OMG I think they got rid of the autoplay? I clicked here from your nanaimo bars one and it is not there! It's NOT THERE!!! How I hope it's fixed but I am not holding my breath.

This is another one that I think I am going to definitely try.

I love that you use natural lighting. Plus, it let me see your wheelbarrow outside in one shot :)))))))

  • @silverscreamgrl Wheelbarrows add that "homey" feel to the photos, lol!!

I find the food sometimes looks better in natural light (colours are truer) I just need to find a background that doesn't include wheelbarrows and aluminum boats. lol.

  • @yoyomax12 HA! I loved seeing it :))) I will have to try doing pics up near the window. You'll get to see a funky ladder that Scott can't seem to put the heck away.

  • A great combo of ingredients there. Really looks good Tammy. (I have to start making some casseroles again). They are just the best! cheers, KtC

  • @kooktocook I like the one dish meals because they are so easy.

  • Looks delicious! An amazing way to use leftover chicken, I bet. Thanks =]

  • @fezan84 I try to get two meals out of a whole roasted chicken and this is a good way to use it up.

  • Update: You left sour cream off of the ingredient list. I was in Publix, and I had this odd feeling I needed sour cream for "some" reason, but it wasn't on my list. I got some anyway, since I'll ALWAYS use it for something. Glad I did.

I was a bit heavy on the noodles, more like half of a pound bag instead of the third it looked like, but that was okay. I went heavy on the spinach in honor of Max, the boobies were a half pound each, so there was plenty of meat, and I did use Swiss.

    -cont'd-

  • Mods: Fresh shrooms instead of canned, canned roasted peppers instead of fresh (my tummy prefers them), a clove of garlic, 1/4 cup of diced celery to create a "trinity," Carnation instead of 1/2&1/2 (I rarely use milk so I avoid buying fresh unless I have to). I cut up the chicken raw and added it to the veggies to saute (upped the EVOO to 1 1/2 TBS), saved an extra step, and it worked fine.

It came out EXCELLENT, and I'll be making it again. I do think the tang of cheddar would work well.

  • @anmoose Love all the changes you made to this! Yours sounded fantastic

  • @yoyomax12,

It's a great dish, Tam, and one of those that just begs for variations. It did turn out great, and I especially like such recipes because the next time, with some subtle changes, it can be completely different. I'll try a cheddar next time, maybe throw in some broccoli. Another time, use Romano and dice up a tomato, add a touch of basil and oregano, and do it with angel hair instead of noodles. Same dish but NOT.

  • @anmoose I did leave the sour cream off the list! Thanks for telling me, I fixed it.

lol @ boobies, I had to read that twice, lol.

  • Looks so good Tammy. Something like chicken florentine! Hugs!

  • @imperceptibleme Yes! A bit like chicken florentine! ((hugs)) You and James haven't done a Sunday chat in a bit, miss you.

  • Ooh this looks yummy. A little fattening but, hey like I said, yummy. Same thing right?

  • @audionautix This could be made lighter in a lot of ways, but it is heavy on the carbs.

  • That looks really good..

  • @FindingMeAgain Thanks!

  • Oh i don't like this new autoplay feature youtube just brought in.....

but i do like this recipe and although it's rather calorie-laden i am going to make it anyway!

    :-)

  • @twish1999 It is calorie ladden, you could lighten it up by using low fat substitutes for the ingredients.

The autoplay has been turned off!! WOOT!!!

  • What's not to like?!! YUMMMM! Blessings, Ang

  • @GramsandPapi Thanks Ang!

  • Looks fantastic!! Thx for the post.

  • @ilikethewok Thanks!

  • super yummy!!!!!!!!

  • @daysioc It is! Thanks Daysi.

  • Oh YUM!!!

  • @Blizzeekitty Thanks Jennifer!

  • that looks delicious!! ive been looking for some easy dinners..this one looks like a winner!! thanks! :D

  • @vykyvt This one is easy and the leftovers are yummy too.

  • your one tomatoe looks like a peace sign!

  • @dasherbaby411 lol! So it does!

  • I used to make a casserole like this but never put spinach in! I think I will try that! What a nice dinner!

  • @wildheart5 I love spinach, hubby and Max don't very much, so I only make things with a little bit of spinach in them.

  • Looks really good!!!! Hope Max comes up with more jokes!! :)

  • @lizaola4 We will find more jokes for Max soon!

  • Make sure to dig out the same shirt for the next batch of Max jokes:-)

With all that yumminess it has to be good!

  • @1DRock37167 I will most definitely try to remember to use the same shirt next time for the jokes, lol!

  • Creamy and delicious! I love anything with cheese in it!

  • @yescandles Cheese and pasta, yummm

  • ROFL @ "Max picked out all the spinach." I guess we can use that as a substitute Max joke.

This looks absolutely delightful, Tammy, and as you said, a "lighter" variation of the standard casserole fare. I imagine it'd be great with most any cheese, but I do have Swiss on hand and love the stuff. I'll also "cheat" and use fresh shrooms (I rarely ever use canned...). I think it may be tomorrow's menu.

  • Looks so yummy! But all of your dishes do, lol. Did you know that your video has the secret "snake game" in it?? LOL! It's an easter egg that YouTube put on some videos. Too cool!

  • @Lillian0813 I tried to find a secret game in videos on that day and never saw any!

    :(

  • Great recipe ! I will use fresh mushrooms & some fresh garlic.......it just so happens I have all of the ingreds to put this together ....thanks a bundle !!! Shine on !

  • @mukwah1111 Fresh mushrooms and garlic would be good in this!

  • this looks soooooo good

  • i love pasta recipes ( EVEN WITH SPINACH ) especially this one I'll definitely try it :D

  • @lods321 I just bought a new pasta cookbook, some yummy ones in there to show you!

  • my mouth is watering yummers

  • @H3ADY1313 Thanks Heather!
