He's been primarily a traditional grip guy, but I've seen him using matched grip at times going back to the 80s. I haven't heard about left hand problems, but it could be true. I've believed that he switches back and forth just because he feels like it sometimes.

Nice clip, though. I like when he's selective about when to play a lot and when not to.

I'm surprised he's playing so much matched grip. Anyone else notice that?

I've heard that he has problems with his left hand because of playing classic grip so hard. that's the reason why he uses matched so much.
