but i gotta disagree about secrets.

there's a lot of little things that make this work, and without some good higher level instruction, it would be SO much harder to really get it.

But those instructions would only work if the student really understood and then practiced diligently.

so in a sense, without dedicated training, there are no useful secrets...

But once you are serious about spending your time training, then there are...

Nice demo of gentle tui shou technique. This gentleman is good. It's almost impossible to describe what he's doing until you've actually experienced what it feels like first hand. From outside, in a video say, it looks like a lot of cooperative acolytes. Grin. It isn't. There's no real secret here either -- it's just years and years of diligent practice.

I can explain that. I am chinese who understand both english and mandarin. He is saying tai chi use mind energy. he just need to focus his thoughts where he wants his opponent to expell to. When his nose face right, the opponent will expell to right side.. if he shift left, the opponent will expell to left.. all in the power of mind. He says tai chi don't use force.. use mind..
