the singing is really good. a suggestion though is to not move your eyes so much. it gets better throughout the video but in the beginning it looks kinda awkward
I was watching Erin Merle's cover of "between the bars" and someone over there had commented that this cover was one of their favourites on youtube. So of course, i searched it and hear I am.
I just watched Erin Merle's version, something I do when ever I'm feeling a little low - such a lovely rendition - and somebody over there recommended Monster Truck Fan's effort. At first she looks a little unsure, and in the initial seconds the notes she sings seem luckily on key, but it isn't luck! A unique and strangely beautiful voice that doesn't readily fit into any niche - a true pleasure that I will return to!
Interesting version! You have a excellent voice! Sorta like a higher version of Joan Baez-like. Good guitar playing too. I really like this version-and I had been thinking (I know this is sexist)a woman couldn't sing an ES song, but you proved me wrong!
Wow! I loved it, I loved your voice! I usually use higher pitches when I make covers, though I don't have such a high voice... But I think it always is a lovely touch... Seriously, you have an amazing voice... Amazing cover, too... (WAY BETTER than Metric's :D) Much love, Constanza.
I always start out thinking "I am going to sing low this time - focus" but then when I listen back it is really high again... I don't know what is wrong with me (although I think it could be high voice syndrome). Glad you still like it though - THANKS!
Some people just more naturally use a higher register, which is totally fine. Especially when it suits your voice so well. It's just more comfortable for some people to sing in a higher octave than others. It just throws people off who are used to hearing a low.
stunning voice! ...and with your face it's ok. it's alright, nothing's wrong.. :) (lol, rather to say: you can be sure the art nouveau painters would have besetted you to pose for portraits... :)
gosh this is good. really, really, really good.

Awesome cover!!!
I love the original but you took the song and totally made it different in your own without losing what made it good in the first place.
You have a really good voice.

When you started singing I didn't think I was going to like the cover being sung this high, but it sounded wonderful.
I approve. =)
