How to Get the Android 2.2 Software Update for the Samsung Acclaim

im stuck. im on the part where your on the download mode on your phone. Then i click next and plug in the usb cable to my computer and phone. And it loads for hours and hours and doesnt do anything.

i get to the part where u start the software download and it just says "Ready" in the percent bar, any ideas or helpful things???

@Jahooglema90 it seems that this is a recoccuring problem with the acclaim you generally just have to unplug the device and re-try a couple of times i'm not sure what else to say. Sorry about that.

@malik325000 hmm strange... yeah I can get mine. Do you have unlimited picture messaging? if you don't have it on your plan you have to go online to retrieve them but I would assume you have it if you have an Acclaim... does it retrieve the message but you can't see the picture? or do you just not get it at all?

@malik325000 lol thats funny you got that, because that happened to me exactly! I can't remember exactly what I did but because it hasn't technically began the update you can unplug it. Pull the battery and start over again try to go slower so the computer recognizes the device on the program (bottom right of the program) it should say COM(then #) connected or something

like it says updating do not disconnect and you know how it should say how much has downloaded it just says ready and i dont want to disconnect it idk what to do
