@erlendlundvall Can't you see the cooling water flowing out of the outlet? He has a hose connected to the flushing point or to the water inlets with a flushing device. I use one to flush the salt water out of my engine after every trip to stop the cooling passages from becoming salted up.

is it a 3 carb ? I had mine from 1993 and stil in very good condition I have two 30hp's engines on my boat

I've got the same Yamaha,
very powerfull, runs very smoothly and has a great sound, in and out of the water :-D
And the most important: The engine is very reliable!!!

Its bad for the impeller, as long as u dont let it overheat the engine, its not a problem.
