"The Art Song Is Dying" ? Naaah! Not with Thomas Hapson around. BTW, Aaron Copland's "Old American Songs" performed by Mr. Hampson at the New Years Eve Gala with NY Philharmonics, were as usually flawless.

His technique has always been solid. It really allows him to do wonderful interpretations of these songs.

yes, fantastic singing. It's just a little weird seeing his face THAT close, esp. when he's singing for a packed house, not for a camera :)
