Hey... I've been doing this for 20 years, but it was not me who caused this. I never did those horrible subprime loans and the whole era sickened me. There is so much blame to go around, but you would not beleive the types of loans that Wall Street was pushing in the streets & then AIG would insure them so the MBS's could be sold around the world. I agree... the whole thing was TERRIBLE!! I pray that we all survive.

Yes but you built far too many houses, then sold them to people who could never afford them. Then you split up those mortgages, sold that debt as securities all over the world, including here in the UK. Thus destabilising the finances of the entire world. But those Mortgage Salesmen in CA selling on commission to anyone without all safeguards, have all vanished. Who do we in the UK directly affected by all this and elsewhere sue?
