Yes Nintendo will FINALLY be able to run games good games again like Crysis and Battlefield, the wii sucked ass and I haven't played it in months, but now there's actually games worth playing on it. The wii was "okay" but the fanboys have face it that other than the Nintendo Exclusives the wii was a failure and pretty much every multi platform game on the wii was a joke compare to the xbox 360 and PS3 versions, but now they're on the same level.

But also, you can't really compare first-person shooters like Halo to adventure games like Zelda. Halo is mostly based around multiplayer, while Zelda is much more of an exploration-like game. Curious about the Wii 2 controllers with screens. This should allow completely new mechanics since you can give players hidden/secret information which is impossible in the current games. Suddenly you can implement all those games where you compete with hidden abilities or motives, allowing a lot of really good ideas from the board game world to be transported into social gaming (see Wii)! Even poker is impossible with the current systems... think about it!

Personally it seems a little late or a little early depending on how you look at it to release a new console. They’ll be the Dreamcast of the next generation not quite the last generation and not quite this generation. Then in a couple of years the PS4 and the XBOX 720 will be released completely overshadowing Nintendo in terms of graphics, media and online. They don’t have the big opportunity of introducing motion gaming to the market so what’s the system’s gimmick?
