@jocopro Well you asked three years ago and I've finally have an answer for you. I found a wiki article about it titled "The Streets of Cairo, or the Poor Little Country Maid"
Basically its a tune to the 'snake charmer' song and usually has the same couple first lines. After the 'hole in the wall where the boys can see it all" but it changes from person to person/[/region/family]
awh :D

@Enigma1790 Sounds more like "Yes we do" to me.

i also think that schoolhouse rhyme was lost on the English. the whole "there's a hole in the wall where the men can see it all" thing...
cooljammer00 3 years ago
Yeah, I have never got that line.
jocopro 3 years ago
it's a fairly common childhood rhyme here in the states. it's really immature, and perfect for a song like this.
cooljammer00 3 years ago
Ok, how does it go? Or failing that, what do I need to google to find it?

"There's a place in France
Where the naked ladies dance.
There's a hole in the wall
Where the boys can see it all.
But the boys don't care
'Cause they eat their underwear."

Ah, he was awesome. I was standing pretty close too, probably the most fun I've had in a while.

We were all standing pretty close, it was a small room and it was full. ;)

Fantastic show. Love the huge response from the audience with the WW2 line :D
There was so much energy in the room, and we all sang along to the songs

I only got the Billy Bragg song and most of the banter from his return to the stage.
I'm having issues uploading the Billy Bragg cover, but I am trying.

We need skullcrusher mountain up, that was an awesome showing of the spirit of the crowd.
Also I am 'I feel fantastic' intro ruiner, huzzah and stuff
