This is beautifully rendered and composed. I'll soon have a chance to attempt (lol) animations like this on my own since I finally have a laptop from Alienware on the way capable of handling things like this. Thank you sir for posting, and thanks to Maxon for liking this video and bringing it to my attention. Much appreciated.
That was great Shepperd! ..please (if you have the time and inclination) could you explain how you achieved this, a tutorial or just a list of procedures?
@BlackNapkin61 TFD works and operates just like real world gaseous fluids. In order for me to explain how to use the plugin, I would first need to explain how fire is created. However for these dry ice simulations, its just white smoke with a negative buoyancy. I'll make some tutorials when I have time.
@psychoscout1 These renders are new. Made them last night. I still use 11.5 for studio work. Some of our clients have not made the upgrade to R13 yet, so we still work in 11.5 so they can view our files.
A bit an off-topic question but how did u model the base of the destiny?

@lStreaml I used a HD screen cap from the show, and used a spline in a extrude nurb.

It would work very well on a Nitrogen Cooled test computer, like how the extreme overclockers use.
