@SevenSpy the chopper weight broke the TX legs. so the endoslkeleton is not that resistant. i'm pretty sure any kind of heavy bomb or shell can put it to piece.

@xenomorphelv426 I meant it can withstand the hit from a bullet as a T1000 always gets a kick or pushed back from usually any weapon bigger than a standard handgun. Also, I think any terminator model will be damaged from a vehicle that size, possibly even the 1000 but it might just reform if it can.

@SevenSpy T1000 can reform from any kind of damage. you can't damage something that is liquid. it will always regenerate. it's sure at 100% that if it was the T1000 under the chopper , he would have simply take liquid form to get out of wreck chopper and reform just after.

this is why the T2 scenario was ending in a metalworking factory, because there were no other credible options to destroy the T1000.

@Terrorgabba But in this case, Terminator from T2 couldn't sacrifice itself through self-termination. Terminator in this managed to for the sake of completing the mission and because he knows that even a human has to project self-sacrifice in order to fulfill a purpose.

@Terrorgabba The later Terminator models could show some degree of simulated emotions. The TX could smile, do a double take, gasp, and later fear as it was about to die. The T800s in every time knew and accepted when it had to die (except in T1 when it was just the endoskeleton with no skin).

While TX and T-1000 are more like the super soldier terminators as well as more futuristically advanced than other endoskeleton Terminators, as well as having more human traits than robotic one's, which means T-800's must be pains in the ass for them high tech one's XD

@steg140 I think they (producers/writers etc) explained that he had some residual energy from it for a few seconds, giving him enough time to terminate the tx or something like that, otherwise he would have just shut down

@Unkehz0r You never read the comic which shows the T-X training before being sent to the past did you. It came out before the movie. It shows the T-X being pitted against other terminators as a test by Skynet. When it goes up against the T-1000, it vapourizes it with its plasma canon. Remember that the only thing that can beat a T-1000 is heat. But still, the T-X is still stronger, faster, and smarter than all the others.

That's why the T-850 could get his other arm free to put the fuelcell into the t-x mouth.

@dave55811 Actually, at around 2:34-2:36ish, you can see that the door is still moving downward, but is now practically crushing the Terminator. It's just the door is having a hard time since the T-850's chassis is one tough son of a bitch. So not a goof as I see it - the door would have crushed the Terminator in due time, which is rendered pointless by the mini-nuke explosion.
