I think it looks kinda cool. But the boom is strangly short to me. But as far as looks go - who said tractors and heavy machinery is supposed to be all pretty?
these machines are very cool.. We used a base of a TF 120 for our mulcher.. Bell makes good gear for the right size wood.. But a little on the small side for what we do in NZ.. mind you in saying that we do have a habbit of specing to small for a site.. my TF now has a 15 ltr cummins @ 540 hp :-)
@Chanhocklay I'll see if i can get some footage for you chan our trees over here are around 700mm to 1000mm in dia for steep stuff i think you need the tiltdeck harvesters. the bell was good in wood up to 350mm but the head could open and cut up to 600mm ( pretty keen for a 12 ton machine) I think you will find it was a hulton head (if that is how you spell it????) the same as the waratah now makes. Bell stopped making forestry gear when they got a buy out from johndeer. around 2001 i think
Luv it! Is there an alarm that tells you to back up! How do you know that the tree is not going to fall on you? I've never been in one.

@treetanz
Jus curious do u hv video of yr application.
Here in Brunei or SE Asia we mainly use D6 or D7 Caterpillar chainsaw man set.
Also always wonder when mounted with the feller grapper say the Satco
can the machine or usually the hydraulic excavator crawl up a hilly area.
Are they handicap going up hill?
