there are things in life that just make you have a smile inside for another and she is one of those things and i can only imagine what is in store for her because a voice like that and such a sweet persona you can't go wrong and "marketable to the masses" won't matter because a real artist wouldn't want to lose the unique character and original feel which the masses are starved for and that's why this classic sound is so hot, new, and refreshing.
This song has a lot of potential, the first verse is absolutely perfect, but you should vary the chorus, find something more melodic, less similar to the feel of the verses.
This really isn't a criticism, you have a wonderfully rich voice, full of subtleties and nuances, and you record beautifully. Just a suggestion to make you more marketable to the masses. ;)

Koko, that was really good. Even though the lyrics are kind of sad, the song and melody itself are very "feel good". I love it! You have talented guitar support on this one. The base line really makes the song sound incredible.
