my choice on the ps2 is liberty stories over gta 3 , stories has much better weapon controls , camera ,and motor cycles. also stories has clothing choices and as the story progesses you are not constantly attacked by gangs. stories does suffer from poor graphics as it was a psp port so gta 3 looks much better .

I just bought GTA 3 for Xbox on ebay, I already have the trilogy on PS2, but now getting them for the Xbox. GTA 3 on Xbox is mind blowing. I compared them back to back and what I noticed is. Xbox has smoother edges on objects, reflections on cars, higher resolution (it seems), but what blown me away, was the on screen raindrops that blow across the screen when you drive. I seen it on Vice City on PS2, but in GTA 3 on Xbox? It's amazing! Gotta get for GTA fans.

I remember this game when it came out. I bought a copy on launch day, when straight to my friend's house and 3 of us sat around on the couch, passing the controller like a bong. We pulled an all-nighter, and I don't even think we left Portland. It was so much fun just messing around, trying to make jumps, seeing how many cops we could kill, exploring, etc. etc.

Probably one of my all-time favourite gaming memories.

i wouldn't say that this is a review but more of a gameplay montage and you talking about some features. You don't really go in depth on any of the things you talk about but since you mostly talk about stuff that is happening in the video it doesn't really matter. And you didn't answer the one and only question you had before making this video: "How does the game hold up today?" You didn't even compare it to later games in the series. This could have been great but thanks for wasting my time.

I havnt played the xbox or pc versions of this game but i dont really have any trouble with the Auto Aim system on the ps2 version, it just takes skill and practice, but seriously who just runs out in to the middle of a bunch of cops with only 8 bullets in your pistol and just stands there like a dumbass? @victigr You obviously have never learned anything about what a conversion of a console and pc version of games do. the xbox version is just a recreation of the ps2 version with a few tweaks here and there. The xbox is actually a microsoft windows 98 computer programmed to run ROM files. This is where it gets fun, the pc version has better physics because of its delay and recreation, the textures are the same as the xbox version. The poly count doesnt matter, the pc can run it. Learn your shit.
