I've loved mortal kombat since it first came out in 1993. I'll never forget how this was the FIRST game that made parents & law makers shit their pants about violence in video games. My mom still brought it for us anyways. MK, Street fighter & Killer Instinct will always be my loves. So glad to see the MK franchise making this game FUN AGAIN. I'm watching this shit like a soap opera BTW I'm a kind of a girly girl too. LOL

@13metalwarrior All the former games titles slowly, through the years, started putting the whole story together with all of their characters they kept adding to the game. This 2011 title links them together. I think it's a much needed version to put the story all together in one. I really wish that this 2011 game would've just simply woven all the games together like they always did with each new version of the game. I think they went to far with the time travel bit too.

I like the reboot for 2011, but I don't think Raiden should have been made to reverse time. They should've just told the story straight back from the beginning and tweak it here and there if they wanted to. I wouldn't have minded, and I've been playing since the first Mortal Kombat game came out when I was a teenager.

I haven't gotten the 2011 version yet, but I am going to. I'm still a gamer all these years later, and I have to get it.
