  • Where I can find these controls at 0:13 ???

  • @TheJason199819981 The yellow panel with the overhead view of the aircraft is 'SHIFT' + '3' or lower right of the 'SHIFT' + '2' panel, the letter 'A'.

The door control panel is found on the 'SHIFT' + '2' panel, lower left button that looks like the back section of the aircraft..

  • I have this aircraft installed again so I will do my best to answer any questions.

  • why does the demo doesnt have joistick on VC?

  • @FEFO806 Not sure. I never tried the demo.

  • @FEFO806 probably because it's a demo.

  • download linke?

  • @ONE4517 Not got a clue chap.

  • How do I get the Artificial horizon and heading indicator up and running?

  • @Helicopterpilot16 Its been that long since I have flown this aircraft that I cannot remember. I dont have it installed anymore but I know people who fly it alot so I will ask for you? Off the top of my head though, is it something to do with either battery, generators or avionics switch?

  • @jimbo99ful No its alright! I figured it out. I didn't gave the generator selections in the right spot.

  • @Helicopterpilot16 Great stuff. Glad you sorted it.

  • Those props start spinning suddenly - they don't do that in reality. They start spooling up quite slowly. Is it bug or something?

  • @JasonJason210 Limitations of FSX probably.

  • @jimbo99ful Regarding the props starting suddenly. I thought it was a bug at first but this is as this product is. Apart for that one problem, it's an excellent product and I've learned to ignore the sudden start! It is a limitation of FSX, but there are ways round it, as can be seen in the Aerosoft Otter Turbo-prop, and PMDG's excellent J41 simulation.

  • How do you get the panel thing in the beginning?

  • @PowerfulMinecraft 'SHIFT' + '2' if my memory serves me correctly.

  • @jimbo99ful Thank you =D So great people here around helps eatch other :D

  • jimbo99ful

first of all thanks for your replay i m not an pilot i m just flight simulator aficionado,i just get so frustrate for fallow your instructions and nothing happens only works if do ctrl-E, i m sure you do the right way to startup Captain -C-130 i just get frustrate, not make it to start, sorry for been an pain, not you fault

    thanks anyway

    take care

  • @leonels36 Thats ok. I know it says something in the manual about changing to certain views before you start in order to get everything working. It is something like Spot View and then Cockpit View to initiate the systems. I have the same problem with some aircraft if I start from a saved flight, also try starting in a default Cessna 172 first and then swap to the C-130 this can get things soreted with problem aircraft. Good luck.

  • i fallow instruction how to startup cold and dark PDMG -737+747+MD11+ QW757 phoenix 757+ level-d 767+ tu-134 + tu-154+ learjet X + and so many more,no problem, with Capt c130 fallow all instructions little by little and cant get to start i quiet! i m done! hell with this airplane can get it to start, :(

  • @leonels36 As you can see from this video, it does start. This is not fake, this is the process I used to start the engines. Dont worry, pilot error is very common.

  • you do everthing too fast i cant follow instrucion

  • @leonels36 There is a handy pause feature on YouTube. I doubt anyone would want to watch a 20 minute start-up video either.

  • Its a guff switch in the Sim anyway.

  • @jas4921 I think alot of the switches are just for effect really arent they? Still, its nice to be able to go through all the checklist before taking off.

  • Google search 'FSX aircraft' and you should find tons of free downloads

  • I have one question. I haven't been able to find any solution in the manual about the first button you touch. I know it's in the propeller settings area, but what is it, and why do you press it?

    Anyone?

  • @DjankoDK I dont have it installed anymore so cant look at the manual. I forget what it is but I dont seem to remember it being super important. I know some people who have it and fly it alot so I will find out for you if nobody else comes up with an answer.

  • @DjankoDK Are you referring to the NTS (negative torque signal) switch, just above the propellor feather override switches? Or are you refering to the Temp Datum control switches below the throttle quadrent?

  • @evan8683 Hi. It is the NTS switch, but i haven't been able to find anything in the manual about it!

  • @DjankoDK It's a pretty simple system, what would did you want to know about it?

  • @evan8683 Problem is that the manual dosen't mention any thing about these buttons. I just wonder why the video shows that it is being used when there are no description of it in the manual. I mean how does anyone know why to press that button since it is not mentioned anywhere?, that's all...

  • @DjankoDK Try the link I have put in the description. It explains the system. Its page 6, the NTS system. Something to do with Negative Torque. Hope this helps and I must thank the chaps who fly the C-130 over at 70sqn rafsim for finding out what the switch is.

  • @jimbo99ful Always a pleasure to help when needed..

  • @DjankoDK All the NTS switch does is turn on a light to a corresponding propellor that is experiencing a negative torque condition. The switch has has 3 positions, NTS (left I think), Valve (right I believe), and off in the middle position. So, to recap, you set the switch to "NTS" and if you have an NTS condition, the light for that engine will turn on and stay on. Set it to valve, and the light will turn on during NTS, and turn off after the NTS condition is over.

  • what game/simulator is this

  • @petonut97 Microsoft Flight Simulator 10, usually known as FSX.

  • @jimbo99ful thanks getting it for christmas any freeware sites i can download stuff from

  • do you need to programme anything to use the autopilot?

  • @JFMUFC26 Set up the HSI needle to pickup information from either GPS or NAV and set the course. Use the Mode Select switch located to the right of the Altimeter to select GPS or NAV. On the Autopilot panel switch on the Power and Engage switches then switch on Height and Track.

  • The checklist takes you through getting it cold and dark.

  • @jimbo99ful Google search 'FSX aircraft' and you should find tons of free downloads.
