These days you have to find the person and interrogate them to figure out what they are speaking of. Probably some kind of unprosecutable scam, where money is the prize. Kids are sophisticated these days or it could be something completely different. The person being helped is hard to contact, so that's a factor, and they live in a technology deficient part of the world, so that's a factor.

Well, a member of a religious minority is probably more likely to be economically cut off than anyone else. So, charity according to group identity isn't that crazy. Not that I'm defending this specific letter, just that the idea in general has some merit.

as a somewhat agnostic deist-like atheist on weekends but moree-or-less pantheist or mormon-curious sikh with slightly buddhist but without the hinduism parts except if it relates to sikhism tendancies, i find that quite strange.

I actually used to work for a telemarketing company a year ago, and we took orders for those food baskets. Serious. All the people who called were fanatics. It was worrying.

Well actually in former soviet union apartments are more or less hereditary - they don't necessarily cost anything if you were born in them. That said protean your nose is kinda big ... are you sure you're not a Jew ? HAHAHA ! ! !
