I just thought. If you substituted the wax with a cold set resin, impregnated with metal filings (brass, copper, etc.) You could turn the bowl as is, and get some great effects. You might need to keep special gouges because of the wear on the edge, but would that be a tempting idea?
Excellent video. Very interesting pieces. What do you call the piece with the letters int it? Can i get instructions to make one anywhere?
