I like their original sound. This whole retro sixties thing is like their answer to Amy Winehouse's Motown revival, and it just comes across as artificial. Plus this slideshow shows the bassist who is no longer with the band (they've since added a new one, as well as a second guitarist). Now they dress like '60's mod girls, too, which, to me, reeks of a band whose creative force (Z.Berg) has yet to truly find her true "voice".

I disagree. I like their take on a mod pop 60s revival with contemporary sounds. They've made it more authentic than any other artists - and I'd say it surpasses Winehouse's Motown revival. The fact that the entire group has shown a range in style and versatility also shows they're capable of knowing what they like to play and what they don't like to play. It's moot now, though.
