The mirror thing is interesting, but a mirror is created to reflect exactly what you see IN reality, so it cannot be called a mirror without providing the function that it's supposed to serve. What you see really IS what you get. If you don't like what you see in the mirror, change it. If you see hideous and unattractive, well....then I guess that should show for the people you don't get, the size of your body, the shape, etc, if you don't like it, change it! Mirrors can be counted on, sorry
What you get from mirrors is bouncing photons of light that your retina transforms into electrical impulses that your brain later encodes into ideas. Is that reality? Our concepts of reality, and our reactions towards it, come from relating ongoing perception with past experiences. Living restricted by the past has a lot of limitations. If you experience reality without preconceptions, reality becomes malleable.
