  • Thanks!! It is a truly wonderful video, and it sure looks to me that the dolphins are very strong and happy animals!! Remember that these dolphins are trained and rewarded, and treated with great care. The important thing to understand too, is that this is a good experience for them, and is obviously giving them great exercise, stimulation and fun! Animals respond like humans to love, affection, and being treated with respect. BTW, the young people performed wonderfully as well!!

  • hey guys im the one wearing the grey and just wanted to let ya guys know, us at sea world dont go around and get dolphins for fun and bring them to the park, we only get the one who cant live in the wild so say if their sick or hurt, we bring them back to the park and once they heal if they can go back we release them, but if we have had them for too long we keep them cause they would die in the wild and if we keep them for to long then we put them into show, any questions?please ask ill answer

  • @ItsStotts hey it trainer at shamu stadium i like let u no were tottaly nnot ripping bluehorizen off i no u guys think we r but tht best we cpuld come up with

  • @laurathealaskawolf i never said u guys were ripping us off?

  • @OrIandoPerformer not u but trainers at blue horizen

  • @laurathealaskawolf i am a trainer there but i dont know what your talking about? and who are you if your saying your working at shamu stadium

  • @OrIandoPerformer Due because one ocean is almost like blue horizen so..

  • @ItsStotts How much is it for a visit to Discovery cove for four?

  • ummmm btw dolphins arn't bored in the wild dumbass they have a over 4 different sea to explore they have other dolphins and they don't hve to fallow peoples comands okay they where born in the wild for a purpose okay!!!!!!!!!!! and if you like them soo much then realize they arnt pet or entertaners they are animals that are living and belong in the wild soo dnt say bull shit and get your facts together

  • keeping a tiny amount of these animals will help educate the public about them

the only way to learn is to make it fun

people need to 1st worry bout the animals being abused not the animal that r being treated right and being loved

  • Dolphins are much happier and even more beautiful in the wild. Sea World and other dolphin parks help support the brutal massacre of dolphin in Taiji, Japan by paying up to $150,000 per dolphin. Thousands of dolphin are slaughtered each season between September to March. Please watch the documentary film The Cove to learn more or search youtube for dolphins slaughtered in Taiji. Please help spread the word on Facebook and other social media to make this stop.

  • @alejandrabb1 Watch the video "Investigation into the Cove" on YT. SeaWorld don't have any animals from Taiji, and it's against US law anyway. They donate money every year to help stop the slaughter.

  • For all you people who say these animals are poorly treated all of the trainers form great relationships with the dolphins. They don't force the dolphins to do anything I think the shows are amazing. They didn't have as much of the dolphins in this though it was mostly arial dancers which was disappointing. : )

  • This is cruel, they belong in the ocean. Living in captivity causes numerous health problems for dolphins and orcas, they die younger, in the wild they swim around 40km a day - they cannot do this in the pathetic pools they are in, it is bad for their wellbeing. If you visit these places, you are contributing to the suffering of these self aware, intelligent animals. Grow a brain and boycott seaworld.

  • I love the music to this show :)

Went to watch this twice amazing

  • @Amyyx1994 You love the music huh? Dolphins & Orcas primary sense is hearing / Sonar. They are extremely sensitive to sound. When seaworld first kept them in captivity, the dolphins kept dying, eventually they figured out that they died due to stress caused by the noisy water filter. You wouldn't go to these shows if you knew the facts. Do yourself a favour and research it yourself. google the cove.

  • @gally50 By the looks of it, you're the one who needs to learn facts. "The Cove" has NOTHING to do with SeaWorld. It would be against the laws of both the US and the AZA to get animals from drive fisheries. There are NO animals from Taiji in the US, and SeaWorld donate money every year to try and stop the horrific slaughter.

  • @missnoodles996 you seem unaware of the fact that last year Sea World applied for a permit to import a pilot whale from Japan & you believe everything seaworld tell you&that you will pay no attention to expert independent marine biologists & scientists who have undertaken studies and have concluded that captivity can be detrimental to cetaceans wellbeing. Tilikum was captured off Iceland. Is that ok with you? Believe what you want to believe.

  • @gally50 The pilot whale was rescued by the Japanese aquarium, and never came from Taiji. They are giving him to SeaWorld because he isn't with his own kind at the moment, and SeaWorld will be able to give him better care. I know Tilikum was captured, and I'd rather all the whales be in the wild. However, I also know that they are so used to captivity that, for the captive-borns especially, releasing them is just not an option.

  • @missnoodles996 You know SeaWorld captured Tilikum, A magnificent Healthy Orca. They took him from his pod, from his habitat and keep him isolated in a tiny pathetic pool doing tricks for the likes of you. Seaworlds captive breeding program is contrary to conservation. They breed cetaceans for a life in captivity simply for profit & to entertain the ignorant minority such as you. You are a huge part of the problem & you don't even realize. You are no friend of cetaceans. You are pathetic

  • @gally50 SeaWorld wasn't the park to capture Tilly, it was a dutch aqaurium. The pool is 7 million gallons, and not even close to pathetic. Have you seen MSQ? That's where our efforts should be focussed. They breed cetaceans because they can't stop them - AI is done for research, and most births are natural, including the most recent baby. They're not in captivity to be trained, they're trained because they're in captivity. They'd be bored otherwise.

  • @gally50 And don't call me pathetic. I just have different opinions to you, and I've not insulted you, though I disagree. I see no problem with captivity - just as long as the park doesn't capture from the wild, has good pools and vetinerary care, and the animals are at least content. If SeaWorld or any park began to capture animals again, or the standard of care went down then I would be first to protest. But I see no point now, not when places like MSQ are still allowed to run.

  • @missnoodles996 you reply to a comment i made 6 months ago & tell me i need to get my facts right, you are now telling me what to do. I have read numerous pier reviewed studies from Marine Biologists and animal behavior experts with PHD qualifications. You only educate yourself by listening to seaworld employees. You ignore / choose not to listen to independant experts. I have formed the opinion that indeed you are pathetic. just my opinion.

  • @gally50 You read them, and don't open your mind enough to even consider our views. Because you've read a few reports, you now consider yourself an expert, and you think that just because they have Phds, then they must be 100% right. SeaWorld trainers also have college degrees in either Marine Biology or Psychology. They work with these amazing animals everyday, and have amazing bonds with them. I choose to listen to them, because they work with them everday.

  • @missnoodles996 I believe you choose to listen to them rather than world renowned respected scientists because it suits you. You want to be entertained by cetaceans in captivity. You will not listen to any arguments which puts this at risk. i am not an expert & have never claimed to be. I have read former "trainers" list numerous hazards associated with the captive cetacean industry. You believe paid seaworld employees voice impartial views, how naive.

  • @gally50 The scientists don't know about what goes on inside SeaWorld, and they don't believe there is a bond between animal and trainer either which is what changes my whole viewpoint about captivity. Of course there are hazards working with Killer Whales. It would be silly to do any job like that and expect accidents not to happen. Having said that, I would be interested in reading any report about the captive industry, I don't block everything out like some pro-caps do.

  • @missnoodles996 John Jett, a former SeaWorld trainer, told CBS News, "They're certainly masking the issue that the whales are really bored. You deprive them of all the social stimulation, environmental stimulation and expect him to do well. You know, it seems to me to be a recipe for disaster." Q will you to listen to this trainer? A. No i want to be entertained

  • @gally50 I don't believe they're bored. They get social stimulation from the other whales and the trainers. They get environmental stimulation from toys and their pools. Surely they'd be more bored in the wild where there's just sea and others? They don't get toys, trainers to play with, or anything like that. I don't go to SeaWorld to be entertained - I go to see the amazing animals that I'd never get a chance to interact with otherwise.

  • @missnoodles996 For anyone who ever argues that Seaworld educates their customers, you have just proved that this is completely untrue. you stated "........ They get environmental stimulation from toys and their pools. Surely they'd be more bored in the wild where there's just sea and others? They don't get toys, trainers to play with, or anything like that.........." To be honest missnoodles, that is beyond ignorance, you've actually managed to create a whole new level of misunderstanding.

  • @gally50 I know they're not bored in the wild, maybe putting it that way gave the wrong impression. Its just that how can you claim they're bored when they don't even get stimulation like that in the wild? To be educational, a marine park shouldn't just fill your head wild meaningless facts. They should INSPIRE people, and show them what these amazing animals can do.

  • @gally50 no they get to behave normally, hunt for food, swim miles not stuck in a pool the size of a bathtub for there life!

  • The Dolphin Show At SeaWorld Is Amazing

I enjoyed it so much more than beileve as the

trainers didn't get in the water or anythingg butt

that was still amazingg xx /<3

  • i have been 2 this show,they are a type of whale not a dolphin,still very kool

  • @evade531 All dolphins are a type of whale, or at least that is what most people agree on.

  • @bassmastr22 yh i agree, but also i saw atype of whale at the show i went 2 also,i think it was this 1

  • pause at 3:49 its a little funny cause its like someone getting chased

  • i went in 08 and the whale wasnt there :(

  • man, it must be great coming to work everyday doing an awesome job like this

  • just thought id write a nice comment because of all of the arguments below.....great video i love marine life but sadly probably wont ever get to to sea world..i live so far away :(

  • All too often, behind the facade of conservation, education and 'family entertainment',

the grim reality of captivity consists of blaring piped 'muzak', demeaning tricks

performed by increasingly traumatised and sickly whales, along with a growing litany of

'accidents', illnesses, stillbirths and premature deaths. WDCS

  • is dat in austrial

  • If Orlando is in Austria yes!

  • Lets together stop these cruel Whale & Dolphin-shows!

  • Watch the movie called: The cove (2009)!!! Help to save the dolphins and whales from Japan!!!!They are eating all those beaultiful animals!

  • i want to see that sooo bad! i want to see what they have been doing for YEAR secretly from the ENTIRE world! >:O

  • you are eating cowmeat and chicken ? whats the differens?

  • @eduardo00178 thats the fucking sick jappys pal they fucking eat any animal and i mean any

  • im pretty sure if the animals were being mistreated they wuldnt do it. all the animals at SeaWorld can kill a human in 3 seconds so the mammals have the upper hand in that relationship. but if u have a problem with it dnt go there there are manny ppl who enjoy these"enslaved" dolphins. u better b a vegetarian to.

  • @NikanNikki09 The animals do not have a choice of doing the tricks or not. They do them because if they do not then they do not get food. They do not get food until the trick is done correctly, that is why after every trick the trainer gives them fish. The animals also usually do not attack their trainers because they are trained not to do so. And lastly, how do you not think that these dolphins and whales are enslaved, the animals did not choose to become stage performers.

  • @bassmastr22 The dolphins do have a choice you idiot, they use positive reinforcement that is if the dolphin does a trick wrong, they will feed them and then have them try again, they are feed on a natrual diet including show food. do research before you comment about sea world. idiot.

  • 14dlns i agree with you 100 percent.

@shamukid, you are so ignorent. people like us (me and 14dlns are friends and research this together) have PROOF. do you have proof? let me know when you do.

oh and saying that we are stupid/idiot and telling us to go away? ya, its not going to work, it just makes us have more reason to prove you wrong, which we easily can.

  • Comment removed

  • hey no reply, I have yet to see any pro-cap come up with a logical reason cetaceans should stay in captivity!

  • SHAME ON YOU SEAWORLD!

You know you perpetuate the killing of dolphins in Taiji Japan, right? I keep myself informed but the degree of you involvement was unknown to me, until now. I have viewed the film The Cove and you are fully exposed in your criminal actions.

The killing of the dolphins that are deemed un-useful and un-trainable by the aquariums around the world are slaughtered in the most inhumane manner. Japanese fishermen killers of the unbelievably egregious form!!!

  • Ok dude, SHUT UP.

All there dolphins are born there, they dont take from the wild. They have nothing to do with the killing of dolphins. GO AWAY

  • @ShamuKid Seriously?? this is a circus! There's nothing educational about it don't tell people to shut up because they know more then you. How do you know they were all born at the park? Many aquariums trade dolphins caught from the wild in the Caribean, that's a FACT. No we will not go away because Seaworld, Marineland, and anyother aquarium exploit the animals for money. They are multi-billion dollar businesses, if they ran low on dolphins, I am pretty sure they would capture more.

  • @14dlns Haha I hate idiots like you. All dolphins are born there. Wanna know how I know this? My uncle used to work there. The only reason SeaWorld takes from the wild is to rescue a hurt animal. Then guess what? THEY PUT THEM BACK IN THE WILD. SeaWorld does not trade with other aquariums either. God people these days just are plain stupid.

  • Really am I the idiot? I am the one with proof they've traded their animals who were caught from the wild. Most aquariums do capture them from the wild. MAybe they've put some back in the wild, but they've sure kept some. Stop shouting off your mouth when you don't have any proof what so ever. Yeah, I'm the idiot.

  • @14dlns They do not trade with any marine parks and all off the dolphins are born inside the park, Sea World san Diego last year had their 68th dolphin born in the park.

  • @ShamuKid okay and I hate people who like to stay ignorent and ignore the truth, so I guess we're even :)

  • @ShamuKid Oh and lastly, I can guaranty you those false killer whales were captured from the wild. SEAWORLD IS A CIRCUS.

  • No, I won't go away, please send me proff that Seaworld isn't trading with other aquariums who take dolphins from the wild. I can send u proof that they do, i fyou want it. But I think you'd like to stay ignorent!

  • muy liindo

    very beautiful!!!!!

  • its only like 2% dolphins and 98% that cirque stuff..i didnt like it

  • this show was amazing when i saw it at sea world i loved it thanx for uploading

  • that is crap

  • whats the last song called

  • this is weird...this is like cirque de la mer mxed with the dolphin show mixed with pets rule

  • hey hey lets stop this violence i happen to work in sea world and or dolphins are treated with care, love and respect, for our information 2 of our dolphins were sick from the wild and beaten up by hunters ok

    enogh of this discussion........ ok.

  • Disturbedkid and your work at seaworld xD

anyways whats it like at seaworld you getta swim with the dolphins are they trapped in a swimming pool and you arent allowed to touch them incase of disease :O

  • Why should we keep silent? Only by discussion are problems solved and things learned.

I say, keep the discussion going strong!

And whatever the heck do you mean two dolphins were 'beaten up by hunters:???? Since when do hunters mug dolphins? Sounds like a particulary silly urban legend to me.

  • Seaworld is a sick, cruel place, These beautiful animals should not be in captivity, It goes against everything they live for.

  • Seaworld is NOT A SICK CRUEL PLACE!

These animals are more intelligent than us, so if they didn't like what they are doing they could easily just refuse or turn on people, which they do when people annoy them. But obviously they are fine with this!

  • It must be nice to live in Happyland and think everything's just peachy at Seaworld. I wish it were so, but alas it is not.

Dolphins, like elephants, are incredibly friendly, intelligent and patient with humans, even ones who hold them captive and teach them stupid tricks for idiots to ooh and ahh at. For them to "turn on" their captors takes a lot of stress. It does happen, though. But just because they aren't all revolting doesn't make it right that they are prisoners.,

  • it's called the dolphin AND whale show but who cares great footage btw =)

  • im going to sea world on vacation im so excited :D

  • I am just back from Sea World Orlando and was astounded by this beautiful performance. Great show.

  • Sure, dolpnins and other animals are wonderful...that's exactly why you SHOULDN'T go to places like Sea World that exploit them for entertainment.

Do you know how they get them? They have to tear the baby dolphins away from their families... who have close bonds like humans or elephants.

Sometimes the other dolphins attack the boats to rescue the babies, and may even die trying to stop the humans.

    It's true; google it.

If you truly "love dolphins", don't help support this kind of cruelty.

  • Actually no that's not true. I've done research myself as well. You may be talking about the other parks like Miami seaquarium or the places in Japan and whatever. Seaworld takes very good care of their animals. They were never torn from their families or captured. The animals were simply sick or dying. and now if you release them they'll die because they don't know what the wild is.

  • If you've "done research" as you claim, you would know exactly what I'm talking about, not just have vague notions of who I mean.

All, and I mean ALL marine parks that use mammals for cheap entertainment get them from the wild. Chlorine-filled pools are not good for breeding; they replenish their captives with wild-born young ones.

And I don't know wnat the hell you mean by "the animals were simply sick or dying"... they don't rescue dolphins and orcas, then make them perform.

  • It is true. I've been to their rehab centers and the animals were wounded. Some even had flippers cut off from boats and such. The pools ar not filled with chlorine, I've been in some of the tanks. The animals are smart. If they didn't want to perform the would refuse the trainers and attack if need be. I know that Miami Seaquarium does that. Why don't you pick on them instead because their the ones who don't take care of their animals.

  • I'm sure some marine parks are better than others, and I know Seaworld does some good rescue work. But they don't make the animals they rescue perform, for that they get others from the sea.

And even if they take "good care" of them, as you say, it doesn't make it right to keep them captive to perform silly tricks for witless fools who gape at them. I would much rather see them free in the ocean than performing stunts to loud music in a pool. It's wrong and you should know it.

  • As I said before, the animals are rescued. Some have medical problems and they can't be released. Animals are happier free. I do believe that. But, we have to protect them too so that they don't become endangered. That's why Sea World has their animals. They NEVER took them away from the sea if they were healthy. YOU should know that they will die if you just release them now. They don't know what the "wild" is and they're vulnerable.

  • Yes, I know that many nonhuman animals that are rehabilitated cannot be released, because of the physical or mental harm people have caused them.

But that doesn't mean they should then be made clowns of and taught to perform silly unnatural tricks for entertainment.

They deserve better. They deserve to be allowed to behave as close to naturally as possible-- which is how I like to see them, not performing for fools who pay to watch them do stunts.

  • Actually Sea World has changed the shows, as you may already know. The animals are doing behaviors that are natural to them. Besides, they are not always performing either. The trainers let the animals interact with eachother as much as possible as well as getting attention from them as well. It's not just entertainment, it's actually education. Thats why at Sea World they're in the shows. To consevrve the oceans and to save the animals in them. To teach the people what they don't know.

  • I didn't know they "changed shows", whatever that means. What kind of tricks are the dolphins and orcas doing now? Catching balls? Pulling humans around on skis? Other "natural" stuff like that?

As for "teaching people what they don't know"-- everyone, even kids, know marine mammals are smart; we don't need to watch them perform in shows to learn that.

As I said, I'd be much happier knowing they were either free or protected in a netted sanctuary rather than stuck in a small barren pool.

  • Changed shows as in the shows are different. They are doing natural behaviors that they do in the wild. You're right we do know that, but people don't know alot about whales and dolphins so there's more to it then them being smart. Look I don't understand why you people think it's sooo bad. You don't even work there. How would you know how Sea World takes care of their animals? You can't understand the animals and what they're thinking. We can only understand them by their behaviors.

  • Ok, putting aside all the horrors of capturing marine mammals, look at it this way: imagine you are a dolphin. You live in water. You evolved to have the entire planet's oceans to roam in with your extended family, your parnents, aunts and uncles taking care of you.

Then you're suddenly in a barren pool. Nothing green at all, no fish, maybe a couple of strange dolphins for company but no family. You can't do what you were born to do, only perform silly stunts over and over for food.

  • (continued) You're in a completely artificial, ugly, hard-walled environment with blank walls, nothing to judge distance by. Not a single grain of soft sand on the bottom, only blank concrete. And during the shows, this incredibly loud noise blares out of speakers for the witless audience (dolpins communicate and navigate by sound)..

This is your existence. This is your life.

You are a captive marine mammal.

Put yourself in their place, Do you still need to ask "What is so bad?"

  • yeah actually I do. First of all it's not the circus. Second, they don't get pulled away from there families. The speakers seem loud because they're in the audience, not near the tanks. You don't need to educate me on dolphins and whales neither. I've studied them for years. You obviously don't know their behaviors because dolphins and whales are smart enough to attack a human being if they don't want to perform. They seriously know whats going on around them.

  • Did you even read anything I just wrote? If so, it obviously didn't sink in... and I'm wasting my time with you.

"There is no one so blind as those who refuse to see".

I hope you wake up from your coma some day.

  • Go f*ck yourself. Nobody want to listen to a person who's ranting and raving about something so stupid. Why don't you all just worry more about the whales being killed for their meat? Or the war that's going on instead of something so stupid. You hippies don't even work at these places you don't know half of what goes on. Good cause I don't wanna hear no more from you neither. Hope you wake from your coma someday and come into reality.

  • I get a similar response, from Desiree Cullen as you did, I think she's a bit messed up. I notice she called you a hippie..LOL, She doesn't like hippies, I don't think she will ever understand, I think she drinks too much swamp water and eats crocadiles. I don't think she's got a sense of humour either, She'll be frothing at the mouth when she reads this.

  • Jesus, no one cares about the dolphins and the speakers, its entertainment, i feel bad there taken away from there parents, but lets be honest you said that the dolphins could attack a human if they wanted, well if they hated being away from there parents they would attack these humans and there would be no show. Honestly if i could swim rapid to please millions of folks i would, sadly i cant, dolphins have a better life than us mate.

  • @sbarry92 The dolphins at Sea World are not taken away from their parents, they are all born in the park, they are domestic

  • Desiree: "The Cove" movie is finally out, and playing at select theaters in major cities.. Please go see it and see what I've been talking about.

If it's not playing in your town, ask your local theaters to play it. If all else fails, at least rent the DVD when it comes out.
