  • they need to bring shows like this back

  • Tear this brings back so many great memories!!!

  • Now that I think about it, Iggy seems pretty creepy. He was the one who grew up and started doing crack or meth

  • Lol, oh the memories!

  • i used to love this show growing up in canada watching it for on sat morning

  • brings back joyous memories

  • and this is Canadian hehehehe!! Love it

  • Yay! I loved this show when I was little. Disney was good back then and had quality shows for children.

  • "but, Iggy i thought you were saving that money"....."yea saving it for balloons" lmao

  • Thank you for uploading!

I watched this all the time when I was little!

  • They really don't make shows like this anymore...too bad. This was one of my favorites when I was around 4-6. It is such a positive show without all the sarcasm and cattiness that is in today's kid shows on Disney AND Nick.

  • Thank you ever so much for putting this online! I wish I could find the Jacob's T-Shirt episode

  • imdb.com/name/nm0488462/

Wow ;/ Holly Larocque really did nothing after this show..........

  • When these shows were on, my mom recorded them so I grew up them. This was my favorite :)

  • my eldest grew up with this one.....ha when tv was decent...I miss these shows

  • Iggy is Basil from Sesame Park! #AdulthoodEpiphanies

  • omg this was like one of the first programs on disney channel when it first came out

  • I remember this show, it reminded me so much of the muppets

  • Oh wow!! I used to watch this when i was a little girl!! I miss this show!! they dont make them like they used too!!

  • "Every lizard has a bow tie and lizard stuff collection."

  • wow ok, I just realized this is wat episode it was. Nevermind haha.

  • If I can remember right, there was one episode where Iggy was trying to think of something to collect. Gloria Gopher collected hats, the bluejay had the cards, and Iggy had the bow-tie collection. I remember he wanted to collect sandwiches haha

  • Wow... I used to watch this show at like 7 or 8am on the Disney Channel. I can't believe some one actually has a copy of this. Gawd, it was so awful!! They really don't make shows like this anymore, but this show really isn't any better than wat's on tv now. I'm just too old to get into the Disney channel now. I'm 25 years old and like adult shows.

  • @TerrariumFusilage1 I'm 24! lol

  • Iggy is sexy.

  • I can't believe I found this, I had flashbacks of a puppet show on nick, and some research brings me here. God no wonder people who are 24 years plus are so awesome, and no wonder younger kids are so stupid.

  • HOLY SHITE this was on in the 80's ? I remember watching it in my teens(don't ask) damnnnnnnnnn

  • loves it

  • do you have the episode posted where Holly tells the story of "the first Shower"? If not, could you please put it up? Or at least just that part of it?

  • i feel like im living inside a big birthday party

  • Man, if they would have all the old shows on Nick and Disney on DVD, I would so let my kids watch these over the stuff they have today. I don't consider Sponge Bob Squarepants quality children's entertainment.

  • I miss old Disney, though I remember it was subscription only. I only got to watch this when they would preview the channel.

  • 3:14

Those clothes, that HAIR... where did those days go? xD

  • Holly is actually insane and talking to imaginary friends of hers.

  • Am I the only one who took this as a social commentary on Capitalism? Or am I just being a political science major?

  • and that is one big balloon, lol i like to see that one pop they would really have a heart attack ^_^

  • omg i used to wake up every morning to watch this and other morning disney channels, but sometimes i fall asleep tho cuz it was on at i think around 6 in the morning and i would be so tired

  • ahahaha, I really need a hot-air balloon too.

  • Why exactly was this Show Cancelled I never did find out

  • this is when i learned i was gonna to die

  • ewwwww turnip sanwiches

  • is it sad that i actually remember this episode lol!!

  • @gixxa613 no! I do too! I also remember the one where jacob ate gloria's flower seeds thinking they were birdseed and Gloria had to grow a flower with just one tiny seed... and she did it! LOL!

  • 8:00

    A-Boot his balloon collection?

  • For 9 whole minutes, I was 5 again. Thank you, kind uploader.

  • Small, triangle sandwiches remind me of being a kid. Also, I don't think the strata would care for these exhibitions of atrocity. I'd like to see a show where these characters are 20+ years older and try to grow a bunch of weed to get their life on track. Gloria would get pregnant by Jacob and Iggy's too stupid to know. Fuck, Canadian TV rules. Littlest Hobo OWWW!

  • I love Iggy's hair!

  • I used to watch this after preschool each day. Gloria was my favorite character. It took me years to remember the name of the show. (I owe ya google!) Over the last few years I've thought about this show again. so....this summer I bought the dvd set. :p

  • lol i remember coming home everyday from school to watch this..haha those were the days lol

  • I remember being a faithful viewer of this show when I was little. It was on Disney Channel and after it was over Fraggle Rock would come on. lol

  • love the old time shows. today shows sucks balls!!!!

  • I have to admit i always had a boner for holly, even watching this as a kid

  • Iggy!!!!

  • ...one problem...baloons don't last... they'll deflate

  • The first show I ever watched on cable TV! I used to watch this all the time on the Disney channel. I used to think Gloria was a bear.

  • OMG, so so many memories from when I was little, like 3 and 4 and 5, flooding back to me. The episodes I remember most were the one where they taught about water tension (floating a penny on top of water) and also when Holly lost her voice and had to write everything. She had tea with lemon and honey, and now I make it for myself! Ohhh and the one where they went to the basement and they were scared of thunder and lightning so she taught then how to count the distance of the storm!

  • @Mrsdeucedolla man I know when you describe a show like this people either think its a dream or that we're crazy

  • @Mrsdeucedolla I agree. ppl said the same to me, but this is my FAVORITE show of all time.

  • This is amazing... thanks youtube, I never thought I'd ever watch this show again!

I'm also cracking up at everyones comments... they are all so true!

P.s. I didn't realize at the time how COOL holly dressed...............

  • i love the episode where holly has the hiccups too

  • thanks for posting these videos this was absolutely my fave show as a kid...my mom used to tape them and i would watch them for hours at a time and never get sick of them

  • Iggy sounds like Moe Szyslak but less nasal.

  • YOUTUBE FTW!!!!!

  • I used to watch this show all the time when I was little. This brings back so many memories. If only shows like Under the Umbrella Tree, Alf, Fraggle Rock, and Eureka's Castle were still on. That would be the day.

  • Wow its been like 15 years since I've seen this... yet I still remember this episode. So crazy. Gold!

  • AWW IGGY! :D

  • I WANT THAT HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thankyou. Im going to buy the dvd's when i get some money saved up. I used to tell my mom to drive home faster after school so i could watch. Like someone said, animal crackers and apple juice lol. Great childhood show. Definently getting this for when i have kids. I dont want them to go down the reality tv road. Thank you!

  • Can you guys please put up the episode with the spider in the cellar named Murphy?? yjat was my favorite episode as a kid :D

  • so true stuff we watched as kids would actually teach you morals or you'd learn from them. anymore its just stupid jokes and dumb.

  • OMG! This was the best ever!!!!!

  • i loveddd this show!

  • This brings back so many memories.

  • i have a cousin who looks like gloria, lol

  • OMG! I used to love this show as a kid and I could never find it. Thanks so much for posting this! Such great memories :)

  • thanks for posting, i was beginging to think this show was just a part of my imagination!

  • Their apartment is in someone's house?

  • i totally remember this episode!! i remember thinking iggys balloon delivery was so hilarious. :p

  • OMG,This brings back memories of my childhood. I watched this show I think every morning. I am now almost 24,not sure when this was, probably early, early 90's.

  • i loved when holly took off her earring to answer the phone :)

  • @FDRP100 Too bad that is all she took off.

  • Nostailga'd hard!

  • I use to think Jacob was cute I loved this show

  • This was my favorite tv show ever

  • If You listen at about 0:42

You can hear the stage hands blowing up the balloons.

  • i think iam the only person i know who used to watch this crazy old school.!

  • i love collecting

  • apartment? they clearly live in a house

  • wow....as everyone has been saying, takes me back to a time, when I was very young at my grandparents house in the morning, eating scrambled eggs and toast. They don't make shows like this anymore for kids.

  • innocence is gone

  • @roomfullofidiots had very similar experiences myself : )

  • im remember in my childhood

  • i've been wondering for years what this show was called,, most people when i asked thought i was crazy! haha,, I LOVE THIS SHOW!:)

  • lol iggy needs a balloon intervention...i remember this episode...so neat to be able to share this with my kids

  • i yhink i remeber this episode to be exact..childhood is calling now i can share this with my daughter :-)

  • @ slightlygone i kno!! this is so crazy to see this

  • Comment removed

  • CBC does not air in America but this show was on the Disney Channel and the Elephant show was on Nickalodeon here in America.

  • thanks for post this show its like being a kid again

  • I had 99% of the episodes on tape from when I was little, but then my mom talked me into taping over them, now I regret it!

Thank you for posting, please post more if possible.

  • I loved this show growing up! I missed it! =D

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I am proud to own all 8 volumes. Will volumes 9 and 10 come out in the near future? I am eagerly awaiting.

  • damn im 5 years old again haha

  • I loved this show as a kid. I remember watching it after school <3

  • Me too! Brings back memories.

  • way to burst Iggys idea Gloria...you bitch.

  • LoL

  • Well Gloria's right... you can't collect sandwiches themselves...

But Iggy could collect PICTURES of sandwiches for a scrapbook

  • This was my one of my favourite shows as a kid!

  • Oh my GOD!!!! I watched this show all day and nite (well not really) but i loved it when I was little. I need disney to bring the OLD disney back!!!

  • OH MANN...I remember them so much..if these guys ACTUALLY were real and came to life...they'd be MY BEST FRIENDS...

Me and Iggy would hang out SO MUCH. Dude I love it.

    I love this show..good times

  • Something really exciting. Like Bird cards?

  • wow i wish i didn't know about the world and i was young again and forget everything that i know now and be innocent again. I really fucking miss this show, and fred penner

  • just smoke some dope lol everyone does it even cbc employees

  • Man, I can remember watching this show when i was 4 or 5. Of course, there weren't as many shows back then.

  • when I was like 10 I would have asked gloria for her hand in marriage. she looks like tracy byrnes on fox to me.

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU. you have on idea how much this takes this 28 year old black man back to being a kid!

  • no*

  • or a 24 year old Asian. *peace handsign*

  • Seriously when I have children all they will be allowed to watch are these great old shows on youtube!

I agree that kids today are really missing out!

  • I swear I've seen this before...

  • I love this show!!! Thank goodness for you tube!!! YAY!!

  • SANDWICHES!!

  • I've been watching all the old shows that I used to watch when I was a kid, and this brings me back!! oh man!! I loved this one!!

  • wow this was my favorite what hasppened to shows now a days

  • how convenient that the balloons match each of them. . .

  • for some reason iggy's voice reminds me of howie mandel

  • I love how we never questioned why a grown woman would live with three talking animal-children.

  • @0clocks0 I always wondered how a free-style artist would score such a sweet house

  • @0clocks0 I dnt know why but your comment made me laugh so hard

  • Watching this makes me wish I were a pre-schooler again, haha.

  • I fully intend on showing my kids old TV shows like this and nothing else. :)

  • I remember this episode! This is the story: I was getting ready to turn in, until a nagging thought about, "Maybe YouTube has Under The Umbrella Tree," because I remember it so well. I don't regret firing up the computer to find this...it made my night!

  • Wow i loved this show.

  • Hot pork sandwiches - wrapped in foil!

  • Jeeze, I feel sorry for kids today,

We had stuff like this, Fred Penner, Lamb Chops, even Sesame Street was better back then, what do they have now, Spongebob and Jonas Brothers,

At least our shows were meant to teach us things, kid shows today just seem like grooming propaganda, if I ever have a kid, THIS is the kind of stuff they will be watching lol

  • @aimziepoo I totally agree with you!

  • @aimziepoo lol i like spongebob it's funny ^_^ that's like the only show i watch on NICK. but i do agree some of the shows are eeh

  • def dont remeber gloria's voice sounding that way! haha LOVED this show

  • OMG I've been tellin' people about this show for years. I use to call it Under the Ucaliptus tree. I even had ppl try to youtube it....OMG I'm so GLAD I know I'm NOT INSANE!!!

  • SANDWICHES!

  • i loved this show

  • This show was too great for words. Informative, educational, hilarious, fun to watch, interesting chemistry between all the characters. "I feel like I'm living inside a birthday party." Hahaha. Why can't we have programming like this for today's youth? This show was amazing!

  • My family only had basic cable when I was a kid, so I only saw this show every few months when the Disney Channel would come through for free for like a week. I loved this show!

  • I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!!

  • holy....shit.....

  • Wow this brings back some good memories.

I remember another show. I think there were three puppets, one was a cat and her name was Tango. All I remember. lol Anyone know what show I'm talking about?

  • when i was growing up these were shows that meant something. Now its like hannah montana phinas and ferb zack and cody.....ok is it just me or do those kids look like there on drugs

  • this show use to be the shit back when lamb chop and stuff was out

  • This is driving me nuts?!!! Who did the voices of the three animal characters? Does anyone know?!

  • Hi SpelCastrMax!

    The actors are:

    Gloria - Noreen Young

    Iggy - Bob Stutt

    Jacob - Stephen Brathwaite

  • @NoreenYoungProd...

their voices sound so so familiar to me!

re: must be really pro voice actors and actress

  • idk. i can't think of anyone w/ 3 hands.

  • Where can you find good entertainment like this nowadays? This is why Hanna Montana, and all this other bull****!!

  • aww i remember this show i used to run home and watch it at lunch time.

  • see, this is so relaxing and makes you want to join the conversation instead of zip-zapping around like these ADHD inducing shows today. Oh yeah, and no Pokemon seizures .

  • Yes,

Holly was hot. If you were an 11-year old boy or younger when this show aired and you didn't think so, you were either in denial or gay.

  • can you plz show more

  • Thank you very much, and I am extremely excited to hear about Volumes 7 & 8.

Long Live "Under the Umbrella Tree!"
