Jack es uno de mis heroes!!!! mi hermano y yo no podiamos esperar que comenzara el programa!!! era el Discovery de nuestro tiempo :) mis respetos para este gran marino :)
long ago I watched a video from jacques cousteau with calypso chasing dolphins and then someone swimming with humpback whales, with a baby one too, anyone knows where I might find it?
yes tomtom2 but there are lots of good dive stories on the net too. My favorite site is the myscubastory site. They have scuba accident videos, shark ecounter dive videos, lost buddy stores, lots of true dive stories, and more. Type myscubastory into google and its the first one. Enjoy !
Wonderful music video... I'm a great fan of Jacques Cousteau myself. Where can I find the actual clips of his explorations as we saw them on TV? I would like to hear his narrations again. Thanks.
HI CALYPSO! i sing to your spirit! so long you have served up so long and so well! HIIIIEEEEAAAAIIIIII HOOOOOOooooOOOOoOOO HHHHIIIIIAAAAAA HHHHEEEEEEOOOOOOEEEEE best singer EVER!
Love it! I recall watching Cousteau when I was very young. I miss it now but love watching my grandchildren light up when a re-run comes on. Your uncle must be proud. Thank you for sharing.
Originally, the Calypso was a minesweeper, HMS J-826, built in the USA and loaned to the Brits under Lend Lease in 1942. How ironic it is that the ship that help introduced millions to "deez peaceful creatures of the sea" was once a warship.
Ironically, the Calypso is a converted warship -- HMS J-826, a minesweeper built in the USA and given to the Brits under Lend Lease in 1942. Go figure
Thank you for creating this beautiful video! I am happy I kept watching after the song ended, so I could hear Capt. Cousteau's wonderful words of hope that humanity will choose peace over war.
Jacques cousteau did so much for future generations,he is a true legend.Thankyou for this great upload,a great pleasure to watch, with a great song to compliment it.

The new generation needs a man like him.
Eu cresci assistindo "As aventuras submarinas" too, and become a diver later. Saudações ao velho mestre!
