Its sad that its being banned because of business reasons rather than health. Kenyans say NO to GMO foods they have been linked to obesity, cancer, diabetes, sterility in the US . Say NO to High Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG, Aspartame. Eat organic. Remove flouride from your tap water it lowers IQ. Look it up.

We are in the age of information. I hope farmers and people of Kenya get the chance to learn about Permaculture agricultural methods. There are plenty of vids here on youtube. Geoff Lawton has amazing videos that will blow your mind and change completely how you think about agriculture. The problem of 'pests' is largely one of monocultural agriculture. Polycultural agriculture systems leave pests confused. Common monoculture agriculture is one of the root causes of many of societies problems.

Let me take this chance to preach some more about Permaculture.Farmers and people of Kenya,Pesticides are not necessary!People who have internet and teach themselves for free on the internet about the alternatives need to act as ambassadors of info to the farmers.Permaculture uses mother nature as the model to mimic agricultural systems.Natural predators are drawn to polycultural systems and pests aren't an issue.Chemicals kill and support foreign companies and politicians!

Farmers comply with this directive...then factor in the costs for 'their' recommended pesticides into produce market price....farmers we have no option for recourse! Competition is waiting to snatch our market share!
