The fact is, before social integration, we we were much better off. So much so, that in the early parts of the 20th century, white people in many cities in the U.S. burned down whole Black town because of their progress, especially in the Science of Business.

Black people began a major push in the quest to return our community to a state of self-sufficiency.. An American that would imply that any American community taking ownership of the economic standing of the community in which they live, consume, and buy property would be "racists" to support that community in which they are responsible of its quality of life is not only sick, apart of the problem in this country, and moreover themselves racists. The company I work for does loads of business for clients in China & India, but I was shocked to find out that none of our black employees are allowed on work teams for these clients.

Black have a history if entrepreneurship in America. However, at every turn there were whites who worked to destroy them.( Black Wall Street in Oklahoma, the Negro Baseball League, just to name two) and the advent of integration did what violence didn't. It wasn't to make us colorblind, but to make us "dollar-less". Without money of our own, we won't prosper, but we will "exist."

I'm white, so I guess I should only support white businesses right? You know to give back to my community. I used to think my "community" was the area that I lived in and the people around me. Now I know that my "community" means people that are the same color as me.
They say that your money should go through at least 8-10 black hands before it leaves our community, jews have the highest rate of money circulating with in there community amongst each other and that is around 18 times, asians and arabs are around 12-13 times, and amongst the so-called whites it is about 10-12 times.
So-called blacks money dosen't circulate once before it leaves.
My experience with the black community has been this. I have setup at events and most blacks walk right by and shop at the white vendors. They never patronize their own people.. We as blacks for whatever reason do not support our own... That really does trouble me.... It breaks my heart.

The fact is, before social integration, we we were much better off. So much so, that in the early parts of the 20th century, white people in many cities in the U.S. burned down whole Black town because of their progress, especially in the Science of Business.

Black people began a major push in the quest to return our community to a state of self-sufficiency.. Prior to the Economic Empowerment Month, all black buisiness Owners in the area showcase what they have available and where we will be shopping at for our needs. Throughout the month give updates if necessary, and at the end of the month the participants AND Business Owners have a discussion on the outcome, its effects and the economic development it can cause if further done. We shud do this. Its so simple.

The company I work for does loads of business for clients in China & India, but I was shocked to find out that none of our black employees are allowed on work teams for these clients.
My boss explained that it’s essentaily because the global marketing of rappers like 50 Cent & Jay-Z has been so successful that all black people are seen as gun-toting pimps & gangsters by Chinese & Indians- all around the world, in fact. It seems a pity that this ‘success’ actually holds black people back.

I as an African American man OFTEN blamed "white" people for our problems, and, for the most part, there are many who are hell bent on KEEPING US, AS A PEOPLE DOWN. Just because they can. However, after looking into it deeper, Ive found, that the problems in our Community is PRIMARILY OUR OWN FAULT. However, at every turn there were whites who worked to destroy them.( Black Wall Street in Oklahoma, the Negro Baseball League, just to name two) and the advent of integration did what violence didn't. My experience with the black community has been this. I have setup at events and most blacks walk right by and shop at the white vendors. They never patronize their own people.. We as blacks for whatever reason do not support our own... That really does trouble me.... It breaks my heart.
