Gosh mark you were a lucky guy to hang out with tammy and kiss her i know you really miss her.a few years back i went to nashville i visted were she is laid to rest very moving. take care .steve
It seems funny how Country Singers can remember cretin fans. With all of the people they meet. I was just as lucky as you were. She was a Sweet Lady!! I was lucky enough to see her and George go at it. It was Funny, because they were just like anyother couple:) Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton are the sameway. They still call me "Kid" and I'm 52yo now::))
This song was written by Linda Hargrove of Panacea, Florida. Google it. She wrote and co-wrote many, many of the hit tunes of the 70's and 80's era. She was known as the Original Blue Jean Country Queen.
What a special lady, though I never got to meet you in person... You will always be our First Lady.. I know you are sharing that wonderful and beautiful voice with the angels above. Love you.
Mark what was that Tabloid headline about "Bitter Mudslinging as ex hubby slams Tammy Wynette with $12M Lawsuit?" I've seen numerous Tammy WYnette Tabloid articles on ebay but never have seen that one.
Thanks Markriss for all your Tammy Postings. I got to see her do a show in Winnipeg, Manitoba shortly before she passed away. Her stage presence and beauty was amazing. She have stood the test of time. I for one think she was a real Lady. RIP Tammy.
Hi...this is so beautiful...I met Tammy myself..twice..still I envy the beautiful friendship you must have shared with her..she is missed so much..thanks for this!
Yes, Markriss, thank you so much for that. I thought I had or had heard most of the lovely Tammy's songs but that was a new one on me and it was so wonderful to hear it.
And yes, we will always love you Tammy. Rest in peace.
I'm a new Tammy Wynette fan. I completely fell in love with her as of lately. Her voice and music is just so beautiful! I'm collecting her albums like crazy, and loving them so much. This is yet another goosebumps-song I have not heard before. I love it, very well done!
Yes, I just found the album on Ebay. It's such a beautiful song, Mem'ries. I think all those pictures of you (right?) with Tammy are so special. Your friendship with her is sure something you will treasure forever.
Mark ~ THANK YOU for sharing that with us. This is a beautiful tribute of your friendship with Tammy Wynette. I enjoyed it so much and love the song.
I'm a long time Loretta Lynn fan and share a special friendship with her as well. I met her when I was 10 years old and we are still friends today some 300 concerts later. I never ask her for anything but pictures with her. They mean the most to me and I see you loved them as well. After Loretta is gone I will cherish them the most. Rick Cornett
I never went to any of the fan gatherings at Tammy's house. I always thought I was too broke -- couldn't take the time from work -- so I never even met Tammy Wynette. It's beautiful to see your friendship with her through the years, though I know it must hurt like the dickens not to have her today.
Thanks a lot, Mark. This was a beautiful tribute to your friend and your friendship.
Oh wow Mark, this is so wonderful! I had the occasion to meet Miss Tammy 4 different times and, well you know, what a sweet and classy lady. Thanks so much for posting!!

What a great video to Tammy Wynette and one of her greatest fans.
I seen Loretta Lynn in concert (Feb. 19th,2010) and she was talking about how much she still misses Tammy. We all do!
