Machine applique is not hard. You need to remember that you aren't cutting the Hope Diamond. You are working with FABRIC. We all learn by doing, so what are you waiting for? By the time you've made three appliques, you'll be an expert!

what kind of sewing machine are you using??

I use a Bernina 1230 which I bought in 1989. If you are looking for a similar machine, try out the Bernina 1008. I love the satin stitch my machine does.
