  • i wonder what kind of graphics was used for the background for it to look kinda real like that for a game this old

  • @grandcreator11 Don't be too impressed. :) Reason it looks real is because it is. It's an actual movie file overlaid with your sprite car. Back in the early to mid 90's, digitizing graphics in the game was the fad, even at very low resolutions like this one. Of course nothing can beat an actual footage when it comes photorealistic graphics, not even DirectX 11, lol.

  • .....wow

  • I was gutted when I saved up my $10 per week pocket money and bought this for $50. It was so shit I played it once

    .

  • @ludwig770

    Lawl, it's cool dude.

  • Do you think i could run this on windows 7? Lol

  • @HamishW96 Might run lol.

  • jaja this game is for atari or not

  • I don't understand why new games can't use real track photo's like this but with modern day computer cars and physics.

  • isso é um aviao ou um carro, ele passa por cima dos carros

    po esse jogo é pessimo

  • 280Km on the Strait looks more Like 80Km XD

Its funny how that spin and move up the track ass well LOLZ

  • @newbeer182

Haha, that's early 90's technology for ya

  • I REMEBER THIS GAME! <3

  • Yeah, but this is cooler than Justi Bieber!

  • You can say it had photo-realistic graphics, LOL!

  • @TheRooster94

    LMAO!

  • Just like Cyclemania: good idea, bad execution.

  • muhahahaha this game looks like ape shit

  • @DronkMonkey666

    muhahahaha...haha..haha..ha -__- ha.

  • try heat online..... its a MMORPG racing game

  • WTF!?!?

  • this is rubbish. I have seen a awful game as i saw this rite now.

  • this looks hysterical. can you just drive through other cars?

  • lol! Hah dude. even in that crappy digitized graphics they still have some collision detection...albeit spinning cars as you can see in the vid.

  • At least, back then, they were trying new things, not like today!!

  • @HardWarUK Mate I had the game took it back next day, it was fucking rubbish, nothing was new at ALL. Driving on a Video as this is was done in the early 70's Arcade games

  • @hardyboyzrko Well of course, if you try new things you sometimes get failures, but on the other hand you see more genius. Nowadays, all games are polished beyond belief, but they also take no chances, so we see genius ever more seldom. In fact, if there is originality, it is coming from the smaller publishers, with games like STALKER and The Witcher.

  • @HardWarUK yes I agree with the point your trying to make but it doesnt relate to this game i am afraid

  • lol what a crap!

  • Nice ! I think Mega Race used the same technique.

  • nice game!! old games are the best!!

    not like today's crap...

these games were made for fun ;) much fun!! :D

  • how did u even play that

  • with a keyboard

  • lol... when the cars crash they just spin... what a fail game

  • its too obvios that they recorded the track no where near the actual event. theres not one spectator and there are still the orange temporary plastic fences at the chase. wouldve been better if there was at least a crowd. still, its an interesting game

  • Rofl, top speed looks like a crawl.

  • LoL......nice sound xD

  • Jeez, I had this POS...

Couldn't work out how to finish a race without mechanical problems!

  • LOL! When beginning on this game you have a crappy slow car which is prone to bad handling and therefore collisions which in turn damage it quickly. I repeat quickly. You just have to very careful not to crash. If you do win you get access to upgrades which in turn make you faster...leaving your opponents who are usually the cause of your damages. Once you get a fast car you'll be always in the lead it's gonna be boring and finish the whole game like I did just for curiosity on the ending.

  • omg

  • lol

  • Very interesting graphical workmanship :)

  • lol...I have this game....

  • Interesting... so is this kind of like some of those laserdisc games of the past with the superimposed cars? Nice video.

  • Thanks John. Yes this came in the mid 90's during the digitized era game craze. This is for the PC though. About the same time Mortal Kombat & many digitized Wrestlemania games came also lol!

  • The track rendition is fine, it's just that the way the car moves around is a bit odd. Still, what platform was it on and what year was it made?

  • It's on PC and it came up about the same time Cyclemania which is around 94 or 95

  • The PC

  • your a fucking pofter mate

  • Why you don't like this Aussie game...Aussie? ;)

  • Very cool man!!! ;)

  • 3D menu looks much better than the game 5*

  • Yeah the menu looks better. I thought I saw a longer comment from you before, did it get deleted? Mmm.. Anyways thx for commenting back.

  • Yes i wrote the longer comment yesterday Probably youtube deleted it - YT comments system have many errors & no problem ;-)
