I remember as a kid some DJ's would use this song occasionally as a theme when they were either going off or coming on with their radio show. When I was doing my

"oldies" show, I used his theme of HOLD IT from 1958. Good Post

It was also a theme for an popular radio-show in Sweden, Tio I Topp!

I remember it very well,mostly every teens in Sweden listened to that on Saturday afternoons.

This was from a live record, "3,000 People Danced All Night". We used to do the original twist dance to it. The Twist that emerged later was a very different dance, much simplified for non-dancers.

@2consul Probably not a real live album. More likely had crowd noise overdubbed in, pretty common in that day.
