I loved listening to you! However, there was something about you physical performance that was uncomfortable to watch. I think you weren't sure about yourself until the bridge and neither was I. But your voice was one point the whole time but there was parts I felt you were pushing your voice beyond the breaking point and some point.
@mulioctaveman I pointed this out in another video but I flat out don't like doing covers. I've never be as comfortable performing someone else's material as I will be performing my own. I was also reading the lyrics, so while I don't think that's an excuse for a disconnected performance, I would like to point out the difficulty in trying to to sing and get the words right all in one take right after learning the song.

Ah, about that; I overdubbed the instrumental over the video, so there's a very slight variance between what's in the video and the actual audio you're hearing.
That, and I was singing very, very loudly and flat out couldn't hear the instrumental at the end. If I were using headphones then that could have been alleviated, but I didn't want anything to take away from the raw nature of what I was doing.

Facial expressions are very hard to work on when you're reading. In hindsight, I should have memorized the lyrics before doing this, but I think there's enough places in the end result that counter balance the ugg face I'm making here or there~.

You sing really well, but at the end of the song you lose a little bit the beat, but it doesn´t matter, you sing very very well!!

Ah, about that; I overdubbed the instrumental over the video, so there's a very slight variance between what's in the video and the actual audio you're hearing.
That, and I was singing very, very loudly and flat out couldn't hear the instrumental at the end. If I were using headphones then that could have been alleviated, but I didn't want anything to take away from the raw nature of what I was doing.
You're the first person to notice that flaw! Thank you for the compliment as well~!

American Idol isn't really an option for me since a) writing and producing my own music is more of a priority then being strictly a singer and b) I'm already signed to a label as one half of the beautiful ones.

Augustrian is part of the title of one of our songs, "Waiting for Augustrian", which is available for free streamed listening on our website (link's on our channel). The album it's from is available everywhere digital music is sold.
The end was intentionally powerful as I've already covered in previous comments.

One thing at the end you seemed like you wer trying too hard as i can you are very passionate about our singing but if you strain your voice too hard it will destroy it and you have a great voice so dont try too hard cus you dont need to

I'm aware of the potential risks of screaming or inducing rasp while singing, but I'm also aware of the risks of sounding like everyone else. I think I have a structured enough technique to where I won't do any permanent damage using that particular sound. Time will tell, right?

Facial expressions are very hard to work on when you're reading. In hindsight, I should have memorized the lyrics before doing this, but I think there's enough places in the end result that counter balance the ugg face I'm making here or there~.
