This looks lovely!! My wife and I are going to do the Mekong trip from Huay Xai to Luang Prabhang (via Pak Beng) next month (Jan 2011). Did you take the "regular" slow boat or a "luxury" boat that you had to reserve separately? Those caves w/ statues look lovely!!
