  • Amazing. Too bad no one told me I had an option with childbirth. I know now

  • Wow!!! This was the most beautiful, and amazing thing I have ever watched. You were great!!! Congrats

  • Incredible! You are amazing!

  • Beautiful

  • Who is the person singing in the music?

  • This is one of the most intense births I've had the opportunity to watch! Thank you so much for sharing this intimate experience!!!

  • Oh wow that was intense! I was actually scared for a minute watching the baby just kind of stuck there for a bit. You are a strong woman! Very lucky family. :)

  • Amazing i was also breech but born via c section

  • You are my Hero ! I wish I could give birth in your house.

  • My last baby was born in hospital with midwife attending and doc just outside in the hall. We had planned a home birth, but were told that since baby kept flipping, we needed to induce as soon as he was head down. Not what I wanted, but I wasn't confident enough to reject their advice. No one in this area (eastern Ontario) will do a vaginal breech. I am preg again, and researching all I can to avoid this scenerio this time. I so want a water birth! I can see the benefits of water with breech.

  • Thank you for sharing your video. I'm highly against doctor-attended births. A doctor would have rushed you for a c-section or pulled the baby out instead of letting your body do it's job. It was so beautiful to see the baby moving while his head was still inside. Birth is a sacred and beautiful thing. You did an incredible job!

  • Thank you for sharing your experience.

  • I gave birth to my son and first baby in April 2010... he was a bottom first breech born at home in our bathroom with a little help from two independent midwives. I watched your birth video so many times before I gave birth and it was truly inspirational to me. It gave me a lot of strength and helped me to believe in birth and in my body. I would like to say thank you for that! I am about to give birth to my second child... this one is head down :)

  • Thank you for posting this. There are not too many breech videos out there and this was an incredibly beautiful birth to watch. I love that your midwives didn't interfere and just let your baby find its way out as gently as possible.

  • You are so selfish and glad this baby is alive!

  • @TheChapmans8 What is selfish about creating the best possible birth experience for your baby? The alternative would have been a traumatic birth, either because the baby would have been pulled out once the body present or because it would have been a c-section. No, c-sections are not easy, gentle births, they are traumatic and have life long consequences. All moms would ideally do their best to avoid a c-section, including birthing a breech baby, much easier to achieve successfully at home.

  • I know I am way behind in posting on this video, but I wanted to say thank you for posting this. I am going to attempt my first (I have two kids already) natural water birth. When my doctor said my baby was breech, she immediately offered a c-section. I immediately declined but was terrified of the idea of a breech birth. This is just beautiful! Thanks so much!

  • That is soooooooo beautiful!!!!! I can't hold my tears!!! Congratulations to mother and baby girl!!!!

  • It was wonderful to watch that your child could be born. This miracle of breech birth, it is hardly. Most children will be born by Caesarean section.

I wish you all the best for the family...

  • Music sounds like Toni Childs

  • My GOSH!

    This is fantastic!

    Well done Mum! :)

I had a vaginal breech birth in a hospital, however it took me A LOT of pushing and pushing the staff to let me have a vaginal breech birth! (I should have birthed at home)! However, I was extremely happy with my vaginal, drug-free breech birth and I would love to have the experience of doing it again some day! I am so sick of doctors (who think they know everything) telling mothers they "HAVE TO" have a C-Section for breech! Go breech Mum's!!!!

  • what an inspiring birth... i am always concerned with breach deliveries that the umbilical cord is very compressed while the babies head is still in the vagina and their body is out. causing a lack of oxygen to the baby, therefore if it is too long between contractions there could be serious brain damage! it is a risk and women need to know not to just hang around once the babies body has been delivered, the babies head needs to be born very soon after. good luck to all who try! i would!

  • Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!

  • This was amazing! I've had a VBA2C and am planning a 2nd but this time a homebirth. Baby is still footlong breech at 33 weeks so this was very encouraging to watch this video!

  • Perhaps I missed it in an earlier comment, but I'm wondering about the music in this video. Who is this? It's fabulous! Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience.

  • @kimberkep Hi - it is in earlier posts but probably too long ago to see. The music is by Toni Childs from her album, The Woman's Boat. The songs are Womb and Welcome to the World.

  • @kimberkep Amen!!!

  • I am 36 week type 1 diabetic and wanting to attempt a VBA2C. However my last two ultrasounds have shown a breech presenting baby. Just started my chiropractic care for the Webster technique today in hopes of him flipping but my doctors are already trying to push a repeat cesarean. They state a refusal to deliver a breech because its unsafe and a high instance of shoulder distocia(sp?) in diabetics as reasons to warrant a repat C. Any advice of medical help you can give, greatly appreciated.

  • And wanted to add that in SC it is illegal for midwives to attend VBAC's or diabetic mothers. So that option is off the table unless I can come up with $4000 out of pocket with less than 30 days to due date and find a midwife to work under the radar :(

  • @mommy98zero6 Hi, I know this is a stressful time for you, however, I was a very low risk case, in that the baby wasn't presenting as footling, I had two previous uncomplicated births, and my health was very good - very fit and strong. Good luck with trying to turn the baby. I would suggest you try to plan for as much skin and eye contact and minimal intervention after the C-section as possible. You could read "Breech Birth Woman-Wise" by Maggie Banks

  • @breachbirthbaby

Thanks for the reply. Placenta is in proper position and umbilical is not in a dangerous area at the moment. These are both positive things for a breech birth but I do have other factors involved like being a previous section and diabetes. However my last was delivered vaginally and I do not wish to rule that option out again simply because baby is breech.

  • @mommy98zero6 absolutely - breech is just another version of normal :)

  • I'm 35 weeks pregnant and found out today that my baby is in the breach position, i am going in on Monday so they can try and turn him. I have never had anyone say i can still give birth naturally, all i hear is c-section and it's the very last thing i want. I need to know the risks

  • @Senka73 Have you thought of getting the opinion of a independent midwife? Breech is a variation of normal, don't be bullied into a unwanted caesarean because your current care providers do not have the skills required for breech presentation. Coalition of breech birth, has some great info. Good luck on a safe and wonderful birth.

  • @TheShalom09 Thankyou for the reply, i will check out the site

  • @TheShalom09 Pleasure. Only too happy to head you in the direction of some useful resources/research. Email if you like.

  • @Senka73 You'll need to find a midwife who will help you birth naturally at home, or a sympathetic OB. Read "Breech Birth Woman-Wise" by Maggie Banks for more.

  • @breachbirthbaby Thanks for the reply. We went for the check-up last night and he is still breech, i asked the midwife about my options and she said there was no problem having a vaginal birth, it being my third baby and as long as everything was ok with the baby. So in a week they are going to check that he can fit through, etc. and hopefully he is not in a horizonal position.

  • Thanks for posting this video. I've never seen a breech baby born in the water before. You are very brave for following your instincts and not caving in to the pressure of the mainstream view that breech should be an automatic c-section. I am planning a homebirth (VBAC) in January and want to labor and possibly give birth in the water. I still haven't figured out how to set up the tub and how to keep the water warm, etc... that is something I'm going to talk to my midwife about soon.

  • WOW! This is one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen. I've never seen a breech delivery before but thank you for posting this! I'm so glad you were able to delivery at home w/out medical professionals trying to force you into a c-section. Great job!

  • Did you have a midwife present? One of the concerns is if the placenta separates and then of course the baby doesn't receive oxygen via the cord anymore but I don't know the statistics of that happening?

  • @stephalie1 Two midwives were present.

  • can i say something not cesareans are bad my life was saved by one 26 years ago

  • @wildroger I think that is the misconception around those that are opposed to c-sections... we recognize that it is an intervention that can save lives but that would be in about 2% of the population - not the 33% that is the current rate in the US. It is highly abused and being on the receiving end of an unnecessary c-section is something I never want to repeat. A c-section should be the last resort, not the first.

  • Thanks so much for posting this; we're in the process of looking for someone who might be willing to delivery breech. After doing the research, it looks to be the safer choice for the mother and safe for the baby as well.

  • thank you so much for sharing! i had an inversion (OB) at 37 weeks (4th preg) because i was told the hospital (USA) would not deliver him breech...I am pregnant for a 5th time and i am looking for inspiration should i meet this challenge again

  • @preg191stchld Because there is absolutely no need to this and it would disturbs the birth, which can cause complication.

  • Beautiful..good for you Mamma!

  • @preg191stchld

Because that's exactly what you should NOT do in breech delivery as long as everything progresses nicely! Then the arms won't follow spontaneously as they did here in this beautiful example of an atraumatic breech delivery guided by mother nature alone. The obstetrician's job is to watch closely and take the time. In case of too much time loss, manual manoeuvers are needed, but they might actually be harmful!

  • schwere geburt respect

  • @MrGorilim

  • absolutely beautiful video. thanks for sharing that with us :)

  • Great video! I am so glad you posted. People need to know that breech birth is not dangerous. It is only dangerous when uneducated medical "professionals" panic and try to pull the baby out. Kudos to the powerful mama!

  • thank you from a mother who gave birth to a breech baby but who is a midwife now and knows too many breech babies are born by c/s in hospitals

  • Amazing video, but i struggled to watch! Im a midwife in Australia, and im a strong believer in waterbirths and vaginal breech births, but a breech in water?? I must say your midwife is stronger than me!

  • What an amazing video! I LOVE that she was moving her arms and legs before she was completely born. From one home birthing Momma to another...I think that is so neat that you didn't just lay down on the operating table for a c-section and was able to have such a beautiful birthing experience.

  • What an amazing video! I LOVE how she was moving her arms and legs before she was completely born! From one home birthing Mamma to another...I'm glad you didn't just lay down on the operating table to accept a c-section, and were able to experience something so beautiful.

  • Wahnsinn. Ein Vorbild für alle werdenden Mütter, Ihre Mitte zu suchen und v.a. aufs Kind zu schauen! *schluchz*

    Sehr harmonisch, sehr schön!

Wünsch Euch noch viele gesunde Wasserbabies ;-)

  • amazing..thank you so much for sharing this. you have such a great gift of trusting and believing. so wonderful!

  • thank you for sharing your beautiful birth! It was amazing..you have such a gift to be able to truly trust and be supported for that. Just amazing!

  • thanks for this unbelievebal video! who is this music from?

  • @trudelina thank you it was a special birth! The music is by Toni Childs - from the album, The Woman's Boat

  • Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately it is becoming more and more common in Germany as well to push women into a cesarean. It just pays better for the hospitals. Too many women just do as they are told without asking any questions, and the hospitals are taking advantage of that. Women here often don't even know there is a safe alternative!

  • Just fabulous!

  • loved it!

  • Amazing!!

I have already expressed my wishes of delievering vaginally if this pregnancy is breech.

  • wow...thank you for sharing this. I'm wanting to do a homebirth and I'm looking at all possible situations. I love how calmly and slowly things progressed as she came out - where in the hospital they're all about "Go, go, go! Push, push, push!"

  • Good for you. I am expecting baby no 3 in 10weeks and am planning a home water birth in the uk. i had the other 2 in hospital. I think hospitals can worry us to much, there only doing there job but as they are so scared of being to court they try to panic us. It was nice to see a breach baby can be born this way and in no way seemed distrested. Your whole exp looked very peaceful and carm. Good for you.

  • Hey babe, we should probably update everybody with a picture of our little star at 22 months of age?

  • @robertfoodconnect we should! I'll try to figure out where to do it or maybe just make a 2nd edition film with her current pic after the birth xx

  • @angelmom3950 yes water birth can be very good for pain relief and for the baby. I have heard that it can sometimes slow labour down a bit, but that never happened to me - I thought it was beautiful and highly recommend it!

  • @angelmom3950 the baby won't suffocate because it is still attached by the umbilical cord.

  • @breachbirthbaby

well, that is not entirely true. Breech babies CAN suffocate as the following head can produce complete cord compression, however, there is enough time (i.e. roughly 5 mins.) to complete passage if the breech delivery is properly planned and conducted which seems to be the case here. Very smart idea to put you in 'all four' position. Helps a lot. Nicely done! I am an OB specialist in a German university hospital delivery unit, and we do a lot of vaginal breech deliveries!

  • @breachbirthbaby

Yeah, unless the freaking cord gets compressed, genius.

  • Very beautiful..thanks for sharing and congrats!

  • Totally amazing and wonderful birth!

    NCT childbirth educator, UK

  • Awesome! Inspirational! Kudos to you, momma for not being mislead by the medical model's current attitude toward breech birth.

  • @chitalpa246

Hi, I am the dad and it was a battle we had to fight without getting in the way of our preparations. Some serendipitous moments through the process plus lots of moral support form the Maternity Coalition. A wonderful and beautiful night, surprisingly only lasting 5 hours from first contractions to birth.

  • Congrats MOM!! You are amazing and strong!!

I'm 29 weeks pregnant with twins, and just found out that the baby A is breech...all the time my doctor said that it would be no problem if the babies were head down for a natural delivery, until today.

She was sincere and told me that the baby will probably remain in this position ...and show me her concerns about a vaginal delivery.

I'll do everything to make baby A flip, I really don't want a c-section, this video was inspiring.thanks for share!!

  • wow! but so frightening to see the baby come out breech, I was so scared that something was going to happen to her neck coming out . what an amazing video, thanks for sharing :)

  • Amazing and Awe-inspiring

  • That was neat. I never seen anything like that. Thanks for sharing.

  • Amazing. Thank you for sharing.

  • Beautiful! Wonderful job, Mama... so brave. I wouldn't have been able to wait that 5 minutes between rushes!!!

  • Good Job Mom!

HAPPYDUDE...This happened to me last month! My doctor told me the head was engaged until two weeks before my due date and he told me he was going to Hawaii over my due date and that I would be getting a c-section that night! I didn't listen and two weeks later I delivered a healthy baby just shy of 6 lb. You can do it! Make sure to read up on it as much as you can. ..oh and this was my first baby and I am tiny...just do it hands and knees and your body knows how to do the rest!

  • what is the music being played for on this video? Its lovely.

  • This is sooo cool! It's so rare you get to see a vag breech birth, much less one at home in the water! The song is amazing too, who is it by?

  • Toni Childs - 'Womb' and 'Welcome to the World' from her album, The Woman's Boat

  • amazing.intense.strong baby n mama.

  • that was beautiful, congratulations an thanks for sharing.

  • just found out baby is breech. was planning a home birth, but midwives here will not do it..nor will my hospital allow a vaginal. I am so upset. thanks for this video.

  • Keep looking for a midwife that will do it, don't give up!

  • Don't give up - stay informed - read as much as you can and keep looking for an experience midwife. Good Luck!

  • @happydude4493 I agree don't give up. I was born breech at 6lbs13oz to a mother who at 9months pregnant was wearing size 6 jeans (she was tiny!) yet she had an 'old-fashioned' midwife who said that unless baby was in distress it was the best thing for mama and baby to go natural. Yes that was a few years ago, yet my cousin had a breech baby naturally 5 years ago because the stupid midwife didn't check and see and it was too late. It can happen, don't give up on your dreams of vaginal

  • Happydude, hospitals say that wont allow it, but would they really make you give birth on the footpath in front of the hospital?? There is always a way around things, and they only say those things to make you think you have no other choice -- There is always choice! Fight for what you want!! I will be praying for you and bub -- I'm 39 weeks with Breech bub and resisting C-section too... You are not alone!

  • WONDERFUL!!!

    Beautiful family.

    Love and Blessings abound!

I came into the world this way myself.

  • No, it's not luck involved at all. It's listening to my body, trusting the professionalism of my very experienced midwives, and ensuring a perfect birthing environment. I was also booked into my nearest hospital which was only two minutes down the road, but I knew this would not be necessary. My midwives were able to monitor the health of the umbilical cord, monitor the baby's heart beat, monitor the baby's colour throughout.

  • Why are some people so ignorant!!! my friend had to have a c section b/c her stupid dr. induced her so he could go on vacation the next day and this led to a c section then the dr. cut her bladder and caused a lot of medical issues for my friend. So for your information shit can happen anywhere hospital included! I think it is healthier for baby and mother to go through a more gentle, natural birth. Way to go mom you rock!!!

  • Awesome!! If she'd have been around here, the Dr.s wouldn't have given her a chance, she would have a c-section scheduled... Way to go Mama!!

  • shes cute! pushing out.

    congrats to all the mommies!

  • wow, what a beautiful birth experience...

  • Just amazing!

  • awesome delivery!

  • hi dear, i'm a midwife from Italy, it's amazing this birth..i can't belive that here in Italy we don't even give the possibility to have vaginal birth to the baby.

I hope to have the possibility to take care of a birth like this in my life

  • I am 33w pg right now and had an U/S today, second this week. My girl is breech today as to two days ago when she was head down. They said they were going to schedule a c-section for that and I stunned them by saying you are not going to cut me ever. They said, yes we will and I told them I would birth at home if they tried. I hope they give up their fight because I was born breech and so was my hubby, vaginal. Congrats on a beautiful birth.

  • wow...good luck with your babe, titan. i had to go in for the manual version in the hospital...but it worked! i have 1 week to go and babe is staying head down still. best of luck to you!

  • Well said, stupid doctors think they know it all, and can cut you at their will.

  • Hooray! Thank GOd for this beautiful time and birth for your family! Rejoicing with you!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. It is an incredibly awesome video. And thank you for trusting yourself, and trusting your baby :)

  • Its seems like medical professionals are WAY to quick to order a cesarean, when the baby could easily be delivered vaginally.

  • Beautiful birth. Was this a free birth or midwife attended?

  • Hi bellbirthing. The birth was attended by two registered midwives - I couldn't have done it without my lovely ladies supporting me ;-)

  • That is wonderful to see. Not sure if any in my city do breech births at home. But I would fight them on it. Good for you.

  • OMG. This video is spectacular. Well done mom. Amazing

  • thank you for posting this. my sister is about to give birth & has chosen c-section b/c her midwife wont do breech birth. i cant change her mind, but i am glad this info is out there. thank you for sharing it with the world!

  • Hi.

    Beatiful,

    who sings the song?

Where can I find the song?

    Thanx

  • Toni Childs from her album The Woman's Boat.

  • Beautiful!

  • Hi,

    beautiful!

    Who sings the song?

    Whre can I find it?

    Thanx

  • It was a little scary watching the baby's body dangling there under the water. Glad it went so well.

  • What a truly beautiful birth. Congratulations on you beautiful daughter.

  • Just lovely.

I would like to try a water birth myself, it looks so much more relaxing and it would be a smoother transition for the baby too.

    Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!

  • This is fantastic - thank you. It is POSSIBLE and perfect. Baby number 3 is due in 8 weeks and currently breech. Both other were head down from 28 weeks so have been panicking.

Did you have an Independent Midwife?

    Congratulations

  • Hi and please don't feel the need to panic! Just be informed - Maggie Banks book is great. Yes we had two midwives present at the birth - both wonderful women who let me birth my baby how nature intended.

  • WHAT A GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • thanks for posting this - my sister is expecting her baby soon and he's breech - hoping he will turn - right now according to the "rules" he can't be born vaginally (because he's breech) - and can't have c/sec (due to anterior placenta), nor be moved via external version (same reason). Well... baby's got to get out somehow! My last three were waterbirths - last two were waterbirths at home - i think it's a shame more women don't have their baby this way - it is so much more easy and peaceful.

  • she was number 3

  • That was beautiful to watch - had a tear in my eye at the end (joyful tear). I myself have had two breach babies but they were very premature so the experience was very different from watching this, numerous doctors etc etc and not very calming at all! I always hoped to have a waterbirth. Congratulations on your lovely family xxx

  • Most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life!

  • This is an amazing video. Thank you so much for sharing it. :) Very beautiful!!!

I just had a baby myself. (a little boy - on October 24) Our planned home birth didn't work out, though because of missing contractions.

    Congratulations on your baby girl.

By the way, my mom was breach, too when she was born and my grandmother had her at home, too.

This made it even more special for me to watch.

  • WOW! I am in tears, that was amazing. I am seriously considering a home birth and have several reservations, one of which being "what if the baby is breech". Your video was amazing and beautiful and truly inspiring! A beautiful way to start a new life!

  • Jusst perfect! What a fantastic job your body did birthing your baby girl!

Can I ask what the song is you used for your clip?

    Congratulations!!

  • Hi and thanks - 17 months later and we're still riding the high of this beautiful birth. The songs are by Toni Childs from her Woman's Boat album - the first is Womb, the second is Welcome to the World, although my editing didn't quite get the timing right!!

  • Absolutely right! It is very important to ensure the water temperature is as similar to body temperature as possible. This minimises the startling reflex just as much as the 'hands off the breech' policy does. As you can see, the baby is nicely flexed and the cord is plump and pumping the whole time. The midwives kept a very close eye on the health of the cord and the colour of the baby's skin. I trusted their expertise and they trust my body to do the right thing.

  • I'm sure it does scare many people who are not used to seeing it. I have seen lots of natural births with head down positioning. I've never seen a breech born. I did find myself holding my breath til the head was out. When you are used to seeing the head clear first, and you don't worry as much about the rest of the body, then when the part you worry most about comes last, it is a different feeling entirely. I really want to learn so much more about breech birth. Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful experience! What a great birth!

  • Very interesting - the music is very jarring - takes away from the beauty of the birth.

  • This is a beautiful example of a breech birth. Thank you for sharing your video with us. I feel very lucky to be able to have witnessed it.

  • perfect breech birth! I love how you can see him rotate anterior towards the end. Births have many variations, breech being one of them, and the best way to it is at home! congrats!

  • Awesome! Inspirational! Thank you! Wake up world, birth is NATURAL:)

  • I'd like to know how's the baby today... how old is he/she

  • The baby is a perfectly happy, normal toddler. As I said in earlier post - breech is just a different version of normal.

  • i am pregnant and i never thot u could give birth that way omg that was amazing i am only 20 and this is our first baby i really cant wait i think it is wonderful me and my husband both cant wait wooow xo

  • Congrats! What a great video!

I agree that doctors can, and honestly often do, cause more problems then they fix. Breech is just a variation of normal and in other countries its normal to deliver vaginally. Cesarean carries its own risks.

As for the head getting stuck, thats not really a risk once the body is birthed like that. The worry is that the cervix won't be open fully or that the shoulders could get stuck. The shoulders are wider than the head.

  • How many natural breech births have you attended? Some drs are the very reason why so many women experience PTSD & PND due to unnecessary intervention. Birth is not a medical condition. It's a natural event in a woman's journey. Her body & her mind (if not interfered with fear-induced language) are perfectly capable of doing the job. There's always room for emergency care, but first leave the woman to do what she does best, & if things look tricky, then respond appropriately.

  • Ecourage women to listen to their bodies, their hearts, & their instincts over the clinical distorted 'facts' that are too often presented to them.

  • Actually I do know what to do. I'm a student midwife.

You don't have any clue what you're talking about do you? The biggest risks for a breech birth are prolapsed cord (easily detectable with an exam) and the cervix not being fully open before the body enters the birth canal.

Do you even realize that the US has one of the WORST infant and maternal mortality rates in the industrialized world? And that most of the other countries with better rates than us use midwives?

  • Again, in most of the countries with better maternal-infant mortality rates, midwives deliver and delivering breech vaginally is the norm. Here, its doctors and cesareans. But yeah, obviously doctors are the answer!

Ftr, I had a cesarean for my last child. Yes, surgical birth does have its place, just not for breech. WHO says no country should have higher than a 10% cesarean rate...ours is over 35% and rising.

  • beautiful birth! shows the mecanisms od breech birth perfectly! well done you!

  • Good show! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. Doctor's don't even mention the possibility of options when a baby is breech, they just schedule the C-section. This shows women that they can do it!

  • Bravo sister. You are awesome to have such great patience. Blessings to you.

  • maravilhoso esse momento, meus parabens!!!

  • What a beautiful birth! Happy birthday to you, how lucky you are little one to be born in to this world like this. Wish you the best

  • overwhelming. congrats

  • If you research all the evidence you will note that breech is just a different version of 'normal' presentation. We went into the birth fully informed and confident in our decision. Two very experienced and talented midwives and a doula were on hand and we couldn't have planned a better outcome. You may like to read Maggie Bank's book, "Breech Birth, Woman-Wise" for all the facts related to natural breech birth.

  • so.... how does that work? The baby's neck or head weren't harmed at all? can it be sufficating to the baby or could the arms injured?

    :) Congrats btw! <3

  • Yes, and this is why more and more women are choosing not to invite doctors to their births. While most of them mean well, their lack of faith in women's bodies can actually turn normal variations (like a breach birth) into complicated, dangerous medical events. When a doctor is afraid, this frightens the birthing woman which in turn causes her to trigger the fight/flight response. She then secretes hormones which shut down the birthing process and numerous problems result..

  • Hi there, Really beautiful sight to my eyes... it could wins awards you know... watch it grow, the time thing really had me jumping but it helps me to trust the instigntive nature of birth... wow, tel me what country is this thank you for sharing it with the world... regards Kelly

  • Beautiful video! My son was born breech at home three months ago, & he is my VBAC to boot! We didn't know he was breech--he had just turned days before birth--I didn't know until he was in my arms! It made me that much more confident in my decision to have him at home: knowledgeable midwife & no interfering meant no harm AT ALL to me or my son. I had planned to labor & possibly birth in water, but everything happened so quickly there was no time to fill the birth pool! Maybe next time...
