Naima is not a platform for a drum solo. The beauty of it should be experienced from instruments that can express its incredible beauty. I am a conga player and believe rhythm has its place, just not here.
@BDDFOUR I agree, drum solo in a ballad? I'm cool with the latin-esque double-time feel though, that at least lends itself to a drum solo more than say the original version. Also, what's up with the bass player doing all that high-up-on-the neck playing over the head B section? He should be layin it down! Over all it is pretty sweet ,
