  • now see why cant every one be like this guy. Every one else gives tuners a bad name " ricer". This guy isnt even close to bragging and isnt even talkin shit about muscle cars, hes just talkin about his set up and how much fun hes having. Thats what cars are all about. Awesme video man im hopin to trade my r18 for a k20 this spring

  • now this guy is a respectable honda enthusias

  • well after watching it again....i guess the time isnt as bad as i thought. the si didnt get a great start off the line but if it did then im sure i wouldnt b saying what i said lol...

  • @xxartemis8xx The slow reaction time does not affect the elapsed time. The clock starts timing when the car crosses the start line, not when the light turns green.

In this case, the driver was more concerned about his elapsed time and didn't care about his reaction time. He could have sat there for minutes, and still run 12s. If this was a race, then he would have taken off when the light turned green.

  • @ajperformancecom gotcha. so then this run was just for numbers....not to cross the finish first...i think lol...

  • @xxartemis8xx Yes, strictly for the time. Quite often, a driver will let the other car go first during a practice run so as to concentrate better on his launch and shifting, without the distraction of the other car next to him.

Sort of like waiting for the bowler next to you to go first, if you do that sort of thing.

  • @ajperformancecom makes perfect sense. ive nvr ben to the track with my car but id love to go i no theres a few in my area. tons of my friends go tho....should be fun

  • isnt this kinda slow for a turboed si? i figured a FI si would run quicker but maybe im just crazy...lol

  • @xxartemis8xx You can find out by searching YouTube for all of the videos of turboed K-Series Si's that run 12s. You'll find another one of our customers from Pittsburgh who hit 12.5 with only 420 whp at 10.5 psi.

Report back with what you find.

  • Well done, I didn't think the SI could get into the low 12's or even 11's with FWD. That's the only reason I've been putting off working on my SI. Is that thing daily drivable?

  • @idarwin That is most certainly daily-drivable. He drove his car to the track and back, an hour each way.

  • @idarwin Oooo ive seen some run low 11s out the door

  • good men me car do 12.4 116

  • was this on a stock engine? cool video

  • @TzManiac01 Built motor - rods, pistons, bearings. He's running at 15 psi, so the motor had better be built.

  • Wow.... Very nice WANNA SEE MORE!!

  • @1337Tru7H Robert is anxious to do better so he hopes to be able to show you more!
