Australia, New Zealand, and many other nations send aid and assistance to many countries because it is a long held practice that these countries have when it comes to floods. They just don't make it that well known. We don;t help countries out so that we get any kind of favors in return. Depending on what political party is ruling in NZ, the aid goes to many desperate countries.

Australia, New Zealand, and many other nations send aid and assistance to many countries because it is a long held practice that these countries have when it comes to floods. They just don't make it that well known. We don;t help countries out so that we get any kind of favors in return. Depending on what political party is ruling in NZ, the aid goes to many desperate countries.

Libya was debt free under Muammar Gadaffi. Now the al qaeda rebels who took up the offer waved under their noses to be sitting in power, will have to pay back their debtors for all those bombs, and weapons they got. The Arab spring is more to do with hiding western motives to muscle their way into the middle east and north african region because of the vast oil reserves under the sand. Iran, Iraq and Libya have some of the world's largest oil reserves. In 10 years time, they will be able to command a good price for their oil because all other oil producing countries like the US, will be exhausted.

Most good Muslim women would choose to wear hijab at least in public and at certain times such as prayer times it is essential. Now that he is dead Libya will be in the hands of the western capitalists, living standards will go down, deaths will raise, and social services will disappear.
