  • do Officers go through green platoon or something different?

  • Or you just get DA selected like I did

  • You don't contact the Night Stalkers, THEY contact you if they think you're able.

  • If this doesn't pump your 'nads, then you need to get a pair...

  • I hope to go to aviation school after ROTC. My ultimate goal is to become a Night Stalker. God bless you Guys for your service to our country!

  • my brother in-law is in 160th i just got back from fort cambell kentucky ha i saw all the badasses i saw rangers navy seals aah green berets it was fuckin sick

  • Wow guys get offended much? No I don't believe this country owes me or anyone anything, I'm in army aviation and I went to green platoon. I spent a couple of months there and I hated every second of it. I'm perfectly happy with big army. So if I offended you then good, you need to get off your high horse

  • @barfchunks14 Don't listen to them, probably just got done being a drill private in basic and are in AIT or are probably just future soldiers waiting to leave for basic. Probably the same dumbfucks you always hear saying, "Oh, I want to deploy." When they never even experienced combat. Same gung-ho dumbasses that get themselves killed down-range.

  • That got me motivated. Just what I needed

  • I went through just after July 4th weekend in 2004. It was hot, intense, and SSGs Logan & Wright scared the crap outta me, but I loved it. Spent three years in 3rd Battalion. Joining the Army was one of the best decisions I ever made. Serving with the 160th was an honor.

  • NSDQ - "And behold Oppressor...a Dark Horse, and Death rides upon him. Only you will know terror, as the Dark Horse spits fire and takes your last breath."

  • LOG PT. good ole days. except we didn't have that much padding in combatives part of it

  • @jjrockett22 they still dont have the padding its just there for the video.

  • @dukeferon56 that explains it then

  • so gay

  • @barfchunks14 You must be one of those entitlement mouth breathers that thinks you're owned everything America has to offer for doing absolutely nothing for this country. Move on clown. Idiots like you are what is ruining this country. Wake the F up.

  • @barfchunks14 Does trolling come to you naturally?

  • Night stalkers dont quit! And Death awaits in the dark!!!!

Im a nephew of a nightstalker! HoooAH!

  • I went through and shit seems so whack and corny, I work with tf brown overseas and their alright dudes, I am in 82nd now as 92y I may re enlist to attend green platoon during my next deployment.

  • Daughter of 160th SOAR 87-92. HOOAH NSDQ!!!!

  • The most exciting years of my career!!!!

  • try shooting with your non dominant eye and non dominant hand

  • former night stalker here of 7 years had the honor of knowing some of the best men in the military...

  • My father was one of the original night stalkers before they became what they are today and he inspired me to become one. I won't quite because it's a dream to be able to be a night stalker

  • I've got a 4.0 average gpa because of watching these vids that pumped me to do good, get to west point and ocs so thanks bud

  • Do all operational members of the 160th have to jump qualified?

  • yeah most require you to and sere school.

  • If anyone knows LTC. Jay Voorhees

send me a message with rank and name and i'll see if he knows you

    1-160 night stalkers

  • @stealthstrike what book?

  • Take what you see as a brief visual of what will be to come. Many troops have no idea what they are getting themselves into before they go through Green PLT. It is a defininte gut check and will be one of the best experiences of a persons life.

Many will make it through, but only a select few will be able to experience what it truely means to be a Night Stalker. Remember this "some gave all, but all gave some". Those who gave the ultimate scarifice are not forgotten.

    NSDQ...

    man down

  • Hoo-aah!! I wish I had the skill to fly for the 160th SOAR. But unfortunately, I wasn't the best stick even back when I was an Aeroscout Aviator. I would have loved to be a "Little Bird" Aviator.

  • Former NightStalker 4/160th SOAR(A)

  • lol cool

  • today, some kid was trying to tell me that airforce was the way to go and the Army was full of pussies. All I said was "The Army has 160th SOAR, and Airborne, what does the chairforce have? A bunch of pansies who couldnt make it through Army basic." He shut up =)

  • @unclet95 Let me just say 'It is my duty as a Pararescueman to save life and to aid the injured. I will be prepared at all times to perform my assigned duties quickly and efficiently, placing these duties before personal desires and comforts. These things I do, that others may live.' You tell a Pararescue that he's a pansy that couldn't hack it in the army and he'll break you in half.

  • @MoonEyes2k He wasnt pararescue. I know pararescue is pretty good. He was a pilot. Pararescue is badass.

  • a word to all you terrorist shit bags: death waits in the dark

  • Hey I miss it too, but in my day it was the Task Force!

  • my big bro is in 160th and hes

     19 hes the best

  • my big bro is in the 160th SOAR and he is one of the first privets to get in the 160th

  • These guys are some bad ass mother F***ers, whats the song at the beginning? Or maybe it plays through the whole thing, I cant tell.

  • These guys are some bad ass mother F***ers, whats the song at the beginning? Or maybe it plays through the whole thing, I cant tell.

  • oh yeah NDSQ!!!!!!

  • yeah i went through green platoon but i went during winter so no mud pit lololol then after my class they made the talladega! that was 98 i believe :P

  • @DruGeDuPmeTaLHeadXD

anyone in the regt anywhere can spam me all they want.

if there are flaws in my comment they are rudeness and nothing more.

unorthodox tactics sometimes are what keeps things going.

no one here is asking for anyone's personal information or details.

i don't even know why you would bring that up.

if there's a avionics 94 series soldier out there somewhere that qualifies, that soldier is welcome to step forward and apply.

    the regt is waiting.

  • you are absolutely correct.

    they don't recruit like this.

I AM HELPING AN ASSOCIATE FILL NEEDED SLOTS IN THE REGT BY RAISING AWARENESS WHERE UNFORTUNATELY DOUCHEBAGS LIKE YOU WILL ALSO SEE IT.

how do you think we get personnel?

    we recruit them.

douchebags like you need not apply.

thank you for your lack of support for america's combat soldiers.

evidently my last 23 years of military service in more than 10 countries doesn't compare to your ps3 and xbox exploits.

    have a great day loser.

  • @tapper45

    You, are a liar.

  • @GIJohnnyiraq

    care to elaborate douchebag?

  • @tapper45 I'm not one for arguing on the internet, it's the equivalent to competing in the special Olympics. Even if you win, your still a retard. I'll back up my claim though, just for you. Perhaps your not a liar, but if you have 23 years of military service, that means your at LEAST 41 years old. Generally a 41 year old who possess the confidence, leadership ability, and mental capacity to serve 23 years in our armed forces, doesn't use the word douchebag repeatedly when speaking.

  • @GIJohnnyiraq Granted, superior leaders in the armed forces (I'm speaking from experience in the active army only) are a minority, so you may be one of the majority who continually fails at their job. You may also have spent your 23 years repeatedly being promoted and demoted for idiocy, which you so proudly display here. Maybe, you belong to the elite SF community or SOCOM and your just an asshole. Maybe I'm right, and your just a liar.

  • @GIJohnnyiraq Regardless, after "23 years" you would know and understand that the 160th has a means of recruiting, and you on youtube calling people douchebags and justifying it with some service in the military, isn't the image of professionalism the Nightstalkers would want to portray. Maybe you should shut the fuck up?

  • @GIJohnnyiraq

i saw your other 2 posts below but i only got THIS reply.

you directed those POSTS at me but didn't have the guts to REPLY to ensure that i would see them.

    you are gutless.

visit a senior nco in the regt anywhere and ask them how their #s are.

the ENTIRE ARMY is under strength.

the original post was a FAVOR for an associate.

    to reiterate...

    you're a douchebag.

  • @tapper45 There is a 490 character limit on replies, seeing as how my response exceeded that limit I had to post two additional comments. If I had replied to you specifically on all three they would have appeared out of order and may have been confusing. Doing it the way I did would ensure, as it did, that you saw them. Your response to my comment? Calling me a douchebag. The "ENTIRE ARMY" is not under strength. If you really wanted to do your "associate" a favor, you would stop the stupidity.

  • @GIJohnnyiraq

you can REPLY several times to my posts and replies it may or may not be confusing, who cares.

anyone reading this crap sees months old bickering anyway. i don't think its going to be an issue.

you attacked me 1st- unprofessional, idiocy etc.

i only got 1 of your 3 posts in my email. i had to find the other 2.

28 mos army wide are under strebgth right no. all branches are affected.

unfortunately there's no way to stop the stupidity of others.

  • @tapper45 you wanna be frist u have to haver orders...I had orders from DA do u know what that is????? Dept of the ARMY...or you can put in a packet and hope they bring u on.....but before u can be a nightstalker u have to make it past green platoon

  • @DaRealistization @DaRealistization

took me a while to understand your attempt to use your english on me.

anyway, i have recently been trying not to argue with you internet dipshits but here goes...

is the DA you're talking about the same DA that i was employed by for 23 years or are you talking about some other DA that i don't know about?

orders? you mean like the orders that have taken me to 22 states and 15 countries?

wow, you know about green plt too?

  • @DaRealistization

my associates are THE ONES WHO BRING YOU IN.

that is precisely the reason i asked for anyone who might be interested in the first place to contact me.

a high percentage of average douchebags that DA puts on orders don't make it because of clearance problems, family issues, legal problems in their personal lives, unwillingness to commit to the regt and not being able to pass green plt because they are pansies.

  • @DaRealistization

we hold firmly to the belief that DA does not pre screen candidates at all because of the quality of the average candidates received.

the army sure as hell ain't what it used to be.

  • @tapper45

I wish they would recruit out of the National Guard. It would be pretty risky to leave my very comfortable state active duty position to join some active duty unit first to have the opportunity to apply. I couldn't even imagine the hassle of getting the new commander to release me and the time it would take to make it a reality.

  • @JaredJCarpenter

send me your email address and i will forward it to my chief.

he will be able to assess your situation.

i'm closing on my house tomorrow, chief is tdy.

i'll get your email forwarded within a week though.

    regards,

    tapper-45

  • i am only looking at avionics mos right now, give me a day or 2.

if you get an interview you'll be interviewed for 15f.

    are you at campbell?

  • RECRUITING NOTICE!!!

if you're at ft campbell and you're a 94R, 94L or civilian equivalent (commo or radar electronics tech) with a security clearance or eligible for one-no convictions, bad credit etc, contact me asap.

  • sickest helo pilots in the world! are 160Luv to scare the shit out of ya!

  • HOOAH !!!! ARMY ALL DAY !!!!

  • been there done that it sucks balls in the green but once done your a kick ass well trained machine, and i loved every min of it god bless the fallen nsdq

  • I will be here someday! As soon as they need some more CBRN soldiers!....or I reclass.

  • how do u get selected for the night stalkers?

  • You should contact your night stalker recruiter if your serious (real serious)

  • @ArikaVodenik

    absolutely correct.

google the ft campbell, ft bragg, haaf etc homepages.

look for tenant / non- tenant units and you'll find the local and dsn #s to the local regt.

from there you'll get the info you need to apply.

thanks for encouraging and educating prospective applicants.

  • @ArikaVodenik wer do i find one og those

  • you become very unlucky and get DA selected.

  • for people wanting to join the 160th fair warning they go through some hellish obbstical courses my brother inlaw is in it

  • Very cool, being a Night Stalker was not always a volunteer unit when it came to the enlisted. I do believe I was the first to question being assigned to the 160th. I was given one week to make a decision to stay or be re-assigned after only two days of seeing how great this unit was I stayed. After that I do believe all enlisted solders in the unit were volunteers. Night Stalker 1984 - 1987 NSDQ!

  • Maann Old school! Hell yeah

  • Listen to teddywolf. I went was in 07-01. Task force is the best aviation unit and as long as your not a immature slow learning fuck up then you'll do fine. Trips are awesome and you have alot of lattitude as long as you prove yourself. So if you straight out of AIT then shut your mouth and learn. If your from the big army no matter of rank, do the same. Don't bring the big army to this great unit. And never ever run your mouth where you shouldn't. ( FNG's) Quiet professional! NSDQ!

  • yeah lets just say you'll do about 160 for each fallen night stalker...hmmm if i recall bout 89 on that rock.

  • They just put up number 81

  • don't fuck it up when u get to the company. Too easy to get sent away. plenty of others dying for your slot.

  • Listen to Frankygoes69 he's a CSI and KNOWS what the hell he's talking about... I made it through green platoon, but f'd up everything when I got on line cuz I wasn't a team player, I was fresh out of A.I.T. and didn't know how lucky I was. I'd give my balls to go back now... I kick myself in the ass every day. I've thought about re-upping but If I did I'd probably never be a nightstalker again.... Green Platoon is just the beginning.... DON'T screw it up.

  • It's more that Green PLT. Once you get on line be a team player, shut your mouth, learn, and apply all techniques towards your new career as a Night Stalker which is not a cake wake. Be aware of what yousay and do cause Big Brother is always watching. NSDQ... (CSI) Combat Skills Instructor.

  • im hyped up im getting orders for 160th soon should start green plt in july its fuckin go time

  • hope you make it...

  • being a nightstalker is a lot more than going through green platoon.

  • shit man. im an 11b and im reclassing to some aviation mos to be a night stalker. this training looks like a cake walk. wondering if its worth it. and im retarded. dont have a 110 gt score. can you get like a waver or retake it? im sure i can get like a 120. i blew through the one at meps

  • Is this Santi from 3-187 Scouts??? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • over head hand clap...Man is it ever great!!!

  • huh I'm a little bit more worried about the physical conditioning than the actual flying. Maybe an engineering job would be better for me.. plus my eyes blow

  • No you don't have to be an officer. You have to have a gt over 110 and be in an avaition mos for the best shot. second you have to be able to swim very well. Lost most people do to swim testing while I was in. you can be in on the farp team or motor pool is your not in aviation though. And you have to be able to pass level c sere.

  • Most pilots are CWOs.

  • NSDQ baby!

  • NSDQ!!!!!!!!!11

  • DO YOU NEED TO BE AN OFFICER.

  • na,I don't so

  • sorry, i meant i don't think so

  • Most pilots are CWO's

  • i know its important to have a solid military, but at what point does it get TOO carried away? guys getting injured and even Killed in training exercise?

  • You can type this here because of the military...simply say "thank you" and move along. Train hard..bleed less..

  • Every time I see these videos, it pumps me up! I miss the brotherhood but D Co. 4/160th SOAR in Ft Lewis is one of the worst commands I have ever been in! Im proud however that I was able to experience the Nightstalkers. NSDQ!

  • keep that shit to your self

  • Why don't you shut the hell up... Sorry if it hurt your sensitive feelings...honesty isnt always the best. Get a life.

  • uh oh looks like you hurt a couple big bad nightstalker's feelings.

  • The most fun you never want to have again!!! Really made me wish I was still in the Regiment.

    NSDQ!

    Former 3/160th SOAR(A)

  • man im glad im in this unit 3/160th all the way baby NSDQ

  • Ahh... takes me back. Awesome course and Unit and a great bunch of Brothers!
